I'm having trouble with my LeafGreen game, so if anyone wants to help me out, that'd be greatly appreciated. ^_^ Also, this thread can be for anyone to ask questions or post advice or whatever. ^_^

For me, for some reason I'm having a tough time with the Elite 4. I think my team's okay, but maybe I need to get them stronger before challenging them again.

I'm always overly-cautious and train all of my Pokemon to 70 before even attempting the Elite four. sweatdrop So I've never had any trouble with them...Training more would probably be your best chances

Yeah, but training always takes sooooooo long to do... I think all of my Pokemon in the party are around lv 50 or so, so I've got a ways to go. crying Ah well, in the show they always emphasise on training training training, so I should do that as well.

I'm the same way with training alot, although I haven't gotten the chance to play Fire Red/Leaf Green. *still only has Gameboy Color from 5th grade* XD That bugger's old, and somehow still has the Lisa Frank stickers I plastered it with.

I'm thinking of saving up and buying a DS, because I really want to play the new versions (plus Diamond/Pearl when it comes out) but that means I'll have to sell lotsa people telephone service.

Well I admit that I am not yet at the Elite 4, however, usually I will get at least two really powerful guys and have one of my others with Exp. Share. You can go through your battles much faster and you still get the experience that they need. That is how I got my level 97 Gyrados in Crystal... well okay, so I got him up to level 40, then I faught with him but still, that was how I got the Gyrados from a Magikarp

That's usually my strategy as well if I'm challenging them with lower-level Pokemon. =)

I beat them when my team was at an average level of 50. I had the 3 legendary birds, nidoking, pidgeot, and charizard. My charizard knew dragon claw so that helped with the dragon trainer.

Yeah, I usually have my team at 50+ before challenging, mostly because once I get my favorite team, I'll stick with it unless I'm trying to evolve Pokemon for the Pokedex. XD Leveling up on Victory Road helps a lot as well.
