It seems like every search I do, I can find a crap load of stuff on Dave King. Can anyone tell me where all the info on the other bandmates is? I can randomly find an interview, but they don't talk about themselves much. I understand Dave is the lead singer most of the time, and has had a fascinating past, but I love the whole band and would like to know more about each member. Can you guys give me any info or links to sites?

Even the dvd has little on the other six but enough. The youngest one, the one who plays the Guitar, he joined when he was 17 or something because he was a rebel XD
the accorden player (Matt?) had learned how to play short pior to joining 'replacing' their own one who never came back. Bridget started playing the fiddle/voilen when she was three but never learned how to read notes. She got along pretending to read music and playing for odd jobs/recordings until she met Dave. There was alot more but I can't remember. I guess I have to watch the DVD again.

an interview with the band

another interview

and another one...

they all have some personal info. on the other band members. not a lot. Just stuff like Matt Hensley starting out as one of the first pro. skaters
and Bridget never really taking fiddle lessons, just going into pubs and bars and such as a child and watching a group of people just break out their fiddles and start playing...
george's dad died when he was a child, i believe
nathen joined the band after seeing them once in molly malone's. he had been doing bass lessons for about 6 moths. he asked to join and dave said "we'll think about it" and a few months (?) later after their bass player quit dave called nathen and asked him to join...
i think something happened w/ nathen's dad, too...like he left or died when he was 14? i'm not sure

if you watch Whiskey on a Sunday (the documentary DVD/acoustic and live CD) they touch on all the band members...so you'd get more out of that one I think

I'm hoping after holiday expenses disappear, to buy the DVD. I just haven't had the cash.

i got my copy at Target for 10 dollars...you should try Target...heh...but NEVER walmart, because walmart is the devil as far as cd's go...and stuff...but yea the DVD is a documentary and basically is broken into parts about each member of the band and stuff. it's pretty nifty. xd

You are all so right. I loved the DVD. Awesome

Even "Whiskey on a Sunday" was all about him. During about half the songs you could barely hear the music (which I believe is the best part; not that Dave sings bad or anything, he's really good) because it was centered around his vocals. I don't want a slow song, I want ones I can dance to!

I loved the DVD, but it got a little confusing in one part >.<
It seems like there were naked people and someone was pissed about their wife being there or something... AH, I have tried to figure it out forever now yet alas...
Can anyone that understood that part explain? It was right after a show they did.
