Beyond the castle of anthros, and woodlands and wildlife that surrounded it, there laid a small village, where the humans lived secluded from all others. They lived in peace with several other species. Further, in the center of this village, resided a city.
The Village Outside the City
This area was nothing more then the heart of commerce for the lower class of society. Stalls and bizzares were lined around, with small homes peeking behind these wooden shops. This was obviously the homes of those whose lives belonged to the market. The traveling merchants' final destination in which they could rest, and sell all they had gathered through various journeys. The village was the place to find most anything desired; with morals tossed away.
An air of uncertainty and mystery hung like a cloud on this village. Buildings made of clay, that seemed like they were homes, stood tall and proud. The darkness that glanced through the hole windows beckoned one to come inside for another look. Within those walls resonated a creepy style.
It seemed this area was under-developed, more simple with its dirt roads. All but the southern side.
The south side of the village seems set off from the rest of area. It is said that here lay a group of trained killers, who are bred for more powerful children to be born. It is in this place they cna find sanctuary and all who dare to defy the rules of this section of village face horrible consequences.
The City
The boundries were distinguished between the village and the city once you moved towards the center of the village, and your foot touched a stone road. Buildings now made of wood, brick and marble were all standing beside one another closely, leaving shadows and alleyways to the scum of the upper class.
Humans living in this area flaunted their jewels and were easy prey. They held to debachury and decadence, not caring at all for anyone but themselves. They live in mansions made of beautiful marble and stone, farthest North in the stone road island surrounded by the moat which was the village.
Many taverns, made of wood, line around the outskirts of the city. Humans of all classes come to drink and sing together in these merry places. Crimes however are frequent in the alleyways here. Many shadows leave it the perfect hunting grounds, and many dirty deals are made as well within the walls. Slave trading is rather popular and some are known to disappear into these circuits.
The homes here are much larger on the inside compared to their outwards appearance, just as would be found in the buildings of the village. These buildings were made of wood and stone, many holding basements, and some even sitting ontop of catacombs, where many 'creature battles' are held to raise up money for their masters. A network of these underground tunnels, and rooms lay in secret under the stone city.
This is a land of secrets, where cruel things happen to those who are found to be weak, and those who are seen as strong are immediately mastered by one who holds the power to the city itself.
