This place built to honor long lost and forgotten gods of a forgotten civilization is filled with shattered statues of those deities and fine abstract and natural looking bas-reliefs of peopel worshipping idols, deep in the middle of a verdant rainforest filled with multicolored vibrant flowers, plants and animals of various types is also full of poisonous creatures, snakes, frogs and the like.

Green moss covered and filth encrusted, dusty as it is, it is like some sort of ornate, delicately carved and beautifully gilded maze! You'll never be quite sure what to expect. You may find treasure here... but it is likely filled with traps.

Viberent Macaws, of blue and gold feathers, flew over Severus' head. The called out to each other. They did not do anything to cause the person below them any harm, droping a few feathers doesn't hurt anyone.

Sounds of something large creapt on the branches above, growling sofely but not malichousness to him. All and all, not thing seemed to want to cause any harm. Well, a leech was stalking but but its only a small paracite, right?

What is going to happen?

1: The leech catches up with him and latches on to his leg, drinking happily.

2: Snape is able to avoid the leech, heading forward.

3: Will he take a turn off of his path to investigate a few brightly colored carnivours plants?

4: Free choice.

ooc: I don't know about the wand, honestly. I do know that the shop has soomething that makes magic miscast and otherwise mess. You'll need to ask Dji or mayhap Reine might know.

IC: The large jug plant was not big enough to eat Snape, but the digestive juices at the bottem, smelling like sweet necture, was strong enough to burn a hand or such that touched it.

This plant specilized in killing small critters and had recently eaten something shiny that has not disolved yet, this thing was made of something stronger then insects and mamales.

So what happens?

1: Snape reaches in to grab the shiny object and gets burned by the acid in the plant.

2: Sees a small rodent get eaten by the plant and leaves it alone.

3: Examines the plant and its acid is spilt on the ground.

4: Spots other plants to take a look at.

Severus moved closer to the plant to examine it. He sniffed the air slightly, picking up the sweet smell from the nectar. How interesting... He knew he should have brought empty vials and bottles with him! Oh well.. He'd make a mental note of this plant for when he returned with supplies for herb gathering. Right now was just scoping out the place.

He tilted the plant to one side to get a better look, spilling the acid out onto the ground. A bit startled as it made a hissing noise and started smoking slightly when it hit the ground, he stepped back, dark eyes locked on the acid.

Yes... Definately make a mental note of this plant.... >.>;

Severus had still been inspecting the plant when he felt something brush his ankle. He tensed, going completely still, then slowly lowered his eyes to see the new plant wrap its rope-like apendage around his ankle. He tugged slightly on it with his ankle, to find that it wasn't letting go...

As the grip of the plant tightened, it started to tug him towards the blanket. He balanced on one foot, trying to keep from letting the plant pull him too close, hopping slightly as he tried to get his wand out. Wouldn't it figure that the plant tugged a bit harder? With a startled yelp, he closed his eyes tightly and fell backwards, landing hard on his rear. Wincing, he opened one eye and looked up, to see the plant that was pulling him in.

He pulled his ankle, trying to get it free, wincing in pain as the grip tightened. His struggling got a bit more frantic, and the grip tightened more. He gasped softly in pain as he felt his ankle twist from his struggling at a bad angle...

The second that the plant let go of him, he scrambled backwards, ears flat to his head. At a safe distance, he paused, trying to catch his breath... Frikken plant... He curled his leg up and tugged up his pant sleeve, looking at the injury. It was red around his ankle.. Probably would bruise later on... He wasn't sure if he should continue on or not.. But.. Ugh!

His dark eyes looked back to the plant, then Severus pushed himself to his feet. Gingerly putting his weight onto the ankle, he slowly started to walk away from it.

Severus returned to the path and continued down it, making sure to be careful of his ankle. Ugh.. Nykol was going to have a fit when she found out what happened... Maybe he'll just tell her that he twisted it somewhere, and not show her... Yeah, that could work.

He took his wand, as it got darker the further in he went, and did a small lighting spell. "Lumos." The tip of the wand lit up and glowed. He held it infront of him, lighting up his path.
