Close to the temple, buried deep in the middle of a verdant rainforest filled with multicolored vibrant flowers, plants and animals of various types... these remnants of a past civilization are also full of poisonous creatures, snakes, frogs and the like.
Truly, you can see by looking at these ruins that they were built for a king!
The quality of the workmanship, the fine detail of the natural-looking bas-reliefs of animals and plants in every piece of column, along the walls, painted in bright colors faded with time.... the pieces of furniture still standing... Truly this was a beautiful dwelling place, spacious and graceful, before the jungle reclaimed it.
Green moss covered and filth encrusted, dusty as it is, It is like some sort of ornate, delicately carved and beautifully gilded maze! You'll never be quite sure what to expect. You may find treasure here... but it is likely filled with traps.

Aria Starstone walks slowly into the Palace, curious, her eyes looking around. She was interested, eager, and wanted something to do. She carried no weapons, but she moved with a grace that suggested she might be able to handle herself without one.

-acting as a sort of GM for Aria-
The floor is covered with moss and caked on dust that hides the delicate floor patterns on the ancient tile, but also hides many secrets. A few steps ahead of Aria, hidden by the moss, is a cracked and weaked set of four floor tiles which cover a rather shallow, for a trap, pit. There is only more moss and dirt at the bottom, but there are also some holes in the sides.

Aria looks up, and sees the trap. "HAH wont catch THIS bunny that easily!" She CAREFULLY walks around it, her wings spread just in case, then she heads further in, smiling.

Sadly, it seemed that the makers of this palace knew that they would need more then one trade guarding the entrance, for not ever five steps away was yet another trap.
There's a row of rather skillfully carved stones, each of them with a raised relief of an animal in the center. After this row is another row, without the carvings, and all but four of the ten tiles are triggers for a dart trap set into the walls on opposite sides of the path.

Aria spots the trap and carefully indeed makes her way past them, walking along, watching her step. When she gets past them, she shakes her head. "Man the owners of this palace musta been paranoid in the EXTREME."

Nessled in a bed of thick moss lies a now rather cranky grass scoprion. It had been nesting rather peacefully until it had been awaked by Aria's commentary. It's yellow green in color so it doesn't blend into the moss it calls it's home, and it hisses rather angerly before crawling out of it's mossy nest, jumping at Aria as she walks by, tail ready for the attack!

Aria gasps, then dances back, so the tail misses her, looking for a weapon in case, her eyes focused mainly on the scorpion. This was not so good.

The monster landed with an angry hiss, turning quickly and swinging it's tail, aiming for the bunny's legs, attempting to knock her down, or at least cut her.

Aria backs up but gets slightly slashed, shrieking, and startled. "OH! Damned thing!" She snaps out.

The grass scorpion didn't let up, rushing forward and thrusting it's tail towards her leg, aiming high, determinded to bring this bunny down.

Aria gasps in pain as the stinger hits her leg, crying out. She stumbles back, into the wall, her eyes wincing, trying to get out of range.

The scoripon let out a low, dangerous hiss and his watched Aria, tail raises, ready to strick again. It seemed to be waiting to see just what Aria would do, now that it had hit her twice.
