Because we all love gold and want to earn it
Here is where Ill be telling you guys the best ways to become filthy rich
First off, let me say this. Gaia screwed us poll whores over. Thats right, our income is dead. So, we need to find alterantive ways to become filty rich. These are some of the ways I personally get the most gold. It may not work for everyone, so I'll try to give some other options.

~Gaining gold through games~
This is perhaps one of the best ways to gain gold.
Next to having an art shop or whoring the market place
However, in my opnion, there are only TWO games that actually produce a good source of income.
~Cards~
May I be the first to admit it: Im a card whore. This game is BETTER than poll whoring. Thats right, better than poll whoring. How so? Well, in an hour of cards, I can play 1000 tokens and get around 1000-1200 tickets in return.
Tickets = 2-3 g per ticket.
So, minusing the cost of tokens (which are ONLY 1g each O.o) thats a 1-2k income. Poll whoring gets you around 800-1k per hour. Nice cool
Not to mention, if you buy your tokens from the shops, you are getting rid of gold on gaia, helping to fight inflation. WOOT!

~Fishing~
Unfortunately, I know little about fishing, but I can tell you people get rich of it. If you practice practice practice, you can catch some of those rare fish
Maybe even a dimonad back fish O.o

~Exchange Whore!~
Perhaps the best way to get rich. Hell, thats how all the rich gaians get there money. Simple concept: Buy low, sell high
I never exchange whore, but I plan on it.
Here are some tips:
~Buy sealeds before the item comes out. Then, when the item does come out, it will probaly jump a few k. (from 10k to 13k)
~Buy lots of donation items you think will be huge hits (i.e. the ancient katana, dark halo, etc.) When they reach a high point, SELL!
~Always keep a few donation items on hand. WAIT a WHILE to sell them. Like every 6 months to a year. You might be tempted, but if you buy a few sealeds every month, you'll make it so every month you can sell a few and gain some cash 3nodding
~Buy holiday items, and when that holiday comes (x-mas, halloween) sell them! They'll shoot up in price
~Always check the market place for items sold at low prices. Then, sell them back for more. XD
Other tips related to the market place:
~Sell lower than the lowest buy price. It sells faster :nod:
~Always check the store price (click "buy now" or "place bid" and look under the info in the box to see if it has a store price.) Chances are, its cheaper
~Check the exchange forum to buy an expensive item. The prices are usually lower

~Art Shops!~
*le gasp* Art shops (or any shop for that matter) are a great way to making money. Whether you do banners, avi art, little icons, breedables, or anything that requires skill and creativity (hell, people sell their writings O.o) can make you uber rich.
What can be sold
~Avi art <<< a big one. Ranging from 100g-a few million depending upon your skill xD
~Bannners - Generally very easy to do. Can even be done on MSpaint O.o
~Avi edits - Can make you a hefty sum of money if you're good (no idea what programs are used xD prices range from 100g-20k+ O.o)
~Dolls - I know nothing about these xD
~Profile Layouts - Anyone can learn how to do these, and prices range from 1-30k+ O.o Photoshop or any drawing program is reccomended (to make pretty designs xD)
~Writing - Thats right! People will pay for your writing talent! Ive seen people pay for Avatar Arena descriptions and fanfics. No idea on pricing sweatdrop
~Handmade stuff - people will pay for stuff that is handmade (dolls, plushies, cosplay stuff, basically anything xD) no idea on pricing >.>
~LOTS of graphics and code stuff (img maps, quest bars, wishlists, etc.)
~Plus soooo much more~

Believe it or not, you can use the new system to your advantage.
How? Make sure to post, poll, comment on profiles, vote in the arenas as well as comment, and pm at least once a day.
USE THOSE MULES!
because you can do that on all your mules to and gain lots of money heart

Gaia Jigsaw is great for earning gold. You can choose from 4 levels of difficulty:
Easy (green colour puzzle, few pieces) arrow not much gold
Normal (the default option; yellow colour puzzle, more pieces = smaller pieces) arrow more gold (approx. 100g)
Hard (orange colour puzzle, many small pieces) arrow approx. 200 - 300g
Insane (red colour puzzle, 300 minute pieces) arrow approx. 500 - 600g
And I'd like to ask: What's a mule?
