Since i moved here most good anime that i used to watch on tv back at home is all just on manga books! Including fruits basket!!! stressed Seriously i don't see why they can't show it here co'z i think its better to watch than to read. (lol)
that's just my opinion of course.
I repeat, FRUITS BASKET IS A TV SERIES AND NOT ONLY A MANGA. 3nodding Why is it that they don't show it in the united states??? crying

Probably because most companies fear it'll end up like it did in Japan. When the series was released in Japan it got horribly poor ratings. The Japanese hate the Furuba anime. I know if I'd heard about what happened in Japan I would be doubtful about airing it.
You're really limiting yourself if you just watch it though considering its poorly adapted from the manga and only covers the first eight volumes.

it's very sad attemp on an anime of Furuba. If you want to watch it (wich i sujest you do, even thoughit's not so good), I suggest using youtube, in japanese of course!
