I'm in Health Class this semester, and wow... it sucks. So, I figured I'd come up with a topic so we can all share our horrid/or not so horrid Health Class experiences...
We just finishing up our CPR section, and it's the weirdest thing to try and give rescue breaths to a baby dummy... It's kinda disturbing too >>

Health class was actually pretty cool for me since we were all girls... It was a lot easier. It was also fun to yell at people during 'suicide week' since they just didn't seem to understand the complexities of it... O well. It was fun. And the teacher let me yell so it was all good. 3nodding
We had a different class for CPR/First Aid...

@Logic, You're so lucky! We have to all but make out with them x.X, and then a bunch of kids were having waaaay too much fun with the compressions >> Which, is kinda funny, but nasty at the same time.
@Synthaes, I envy you, we've got a butt load of boys, they over-populate the girls. I'm not looking forward to reproductive studies. Bleh... That's pretty sweet that your teacher let you yell, I wish mine would.

I took Health over the summer and it was cool. I had this awesome teacher, Mister Feezey, and he was so cool-- he let us play dodgeball some days with the other classes, and he bought us pizza on the last day. Sadly, I'll never be in his class again, for he is a regular Biology teacher and I am in Honors. Alas. (Besides, we had a bunch of crazies and the like in our class! xd ((And we didn't have to do CPR.))

I took health two years ago in order to take driver's ed through the school and to graduate. It wasn't so hard because the teacher was lazy and somewhat stupid. We didn't have to do CPR and we haven't since middle school at least!

I had this crazy senile old guy teacher who had little like, dances for everything. My personal favorite was the fallopian tubes dance.

My high school health teacher hated me. It was pretty much a semester of having abstinence shoved down one's throat, especially my since the teacher thought I was a slut because I wouldn't sign her little "I won't until I say I do" card.

Health class is so fun and awkward. Sex Ed with an ancient woman never gets old, even though they shove it down our throats yearly. Say no to drugs and all that. I love it. The anonymous question box is the most ingenius thing ever invented.

Fuko likes to give pretense of paying attention so as not to get in trouble... unfortunately, the rest of the class doesn't. so all during the sex unit, evil teacher decided to preach to me and no one else...so she had eye contact the whole time and i couldn't just...ignore her, cause then i woulda een in for it... sweatdrop so i was in a class of my own for stds....ick... xp

@Fuko - o.o That sucks! I would hate that. I'm not looking forward to Reproductive Health, my class is rediculous, no one listens to the teacher at all....

You know, the kind little kids tote around with candy on Halloween. The worst part of sex ed was when we watched a slide show of diseased genitals in seventh grade. Absolutely sick. I haven't taken a highschool health course yet. I was supposed to in Freshmen year, but I never did; so, I have to do it one of these summers. Of course, if Florida decides to take Health credits off of the requirements for graduation (which they are considering) I might not have to take it at all.

We did watch a video of different births, epidural/natural/caesarean. And it was up close and personal. A lot of people couldn't handle the female parts.

I loved having Sex Ed with girls and boys mixed together.
It was always so funny hearing guys thinking that girls can only be upset or bitchy during our period. I absolutely loved our question box, since most of our classes were pretty boring, me and a few friends would put in really stupid immature questions in the box just for the sake of having our teacher read them outloud and explain to us our bad question.
But for the person who had to look at diseased genitals in grade seven; I feel very bad for you eek

My health teacher was actually a Christian, so I think I was lucky in that regard. I've heard some...interesting things about other health classes. All I remember from that class is that we should look at things from others' perspectives, not do drugs, &c.
