Updates: I'm trying to get the SADX tips done as fast as I can, but the boss has been all over me :/ I'll be online as much as I can, but if I'm not ask Nuala and Shad with your questions.

Update: 10-15-04: I have to attend a funeral ceremony for my grandmother so I will not be updating today. If I do, it will be very late at night.

Hello, my name is Balisong and I frequent this guild as I am sure most of you do. The sole purpose of this thread is for you to consult me about certain games that you might need help on.

From shortcuts to strategies, I know almost everything about some games, but keep in mind I haven't played every single game. I might not be able to answer every question, but I am only human and I try my hardest.

Here is an informative list about every game that I have played, if you have any trouble with any of the following games, just ask me int his thread. And remember, one question at a time, please.

Sega Genesis:
-Sonic the Hedgehog
-Sonic the Hedgehog 2
-Sonic the Hedgehog 3
-Sonic & Knuckles
-Sonic 3D Blast
-Sonic Spinball

Sega Dreamcast:
-SADX (Sonic Adventure)
-SA2 (Sonic Adventure 2)

I have played some of the games for Sega Saturn, but I have very rarley played them and I would not be able to give sufficient advice to you.

How to ask a question:
It's very simple. Here is how you do it.
-State the name of the game you need help on.
-Tell me what level you need help on in the game and what character you're using
-Tell me what part of the level you need help on.

#1 rule - BE SPECIFIC! I can't stress that enough, if you do not be specific in your question I can't help you as well.

Game question answerers:
Balisong (SADX & SA2)
Nuala (2D Games)

Good luck and thank you!

Sonic Adventure Game Tips!
Playing as Sonic:
-Emerald Coast Tips-
1. When you are trying for the A emblem in the Emerald Coast, which is destroy the capsule in under 2 minutes, it can be pretty hard. Near the end of the level, there is a part on a small island of sand where you use a couple of speed pads to launch yourself up a hill and you will land on a part where the is a Kiki (Bomb throwing Monkey) Instead of landing on the island, when you launch yourself upward, jerk the control stick to the right and hold it there. You can cut 7-15 seconds out of your time.

-Windy Valley Tips-
1. Also, if you are trying for the A emblem, this one can be easy, given that you have good judgement of distance. When you start out on the second part of Windy Valley where there are the cross hatched pathways in the sky, all you have to do at the starting there is jump off of the grassy platform onto the steel grate below. There are several places in the level where you can do this.

-Casinopolis Tips-
1. This is an extremley easy and fun level. You play pinball to earn rings, and you deposit them in the bank. Deposit 400 rings to get the Chaos Emerald. Here's a bit of a helpful hint, if you're in the pinball sections of the level, if you lose all 3 balls given to you and you have less than 100 rings, you get sent down to Hell. Haha, I'm kidding, you get sent down into a cavern resembling a sewage system. I usually prefer the sewer, because inside of it there is close to 600 rings.

-Icecap Tips-
1. Here is one big-a** hint for you nice folks. Right at the very beginning of the level when you are launched out into the icy slope, go backwards instead of forward to the trail of rings that you use for a Light Dash. On one of the rocky cliffs inhabiting this area, there are some jump pads. If you're going for the A emblem, this tactic will shave at least 30 seconds off your time.
2. On the snowboarding part of the level, you can press B on the controller and Sonic hunkers down on the board and goes quicker.

-Twinkle Park Tips-
1. I don't particularly have much experince in this level as I do in most other ones, but here's what I know. On the go-kart section in the first part, when you are taking a really sharp turn, release the 'Go' button and then steer, but only a little bit because in drift mode, the control stick becomes sensitive. Also, at the very end when you are about to go up the steps to the Capsule, on the right side of the staircase there are some ring capsules.

-Speed Highway Tips-
1. This level is not to be taken as seriously as it might look. If you have good judgement when it comes to jumping off things and landing on other things, this level can be a piece of cake. Here's a tip: Close to the starting, when you're running on the side of the building, go up to the top of the building as high as you can. There, you will find a fastfoot and another highway. This is an effective shortcut for the A emblem. Also, at the very end where there is a bell in front of the capsule, you can jump up into the bell and rings come out of it.

-Red Mountain Tips-
1. There are some good tips here to use for when you're going for the A emblem. Right at the starting when you're using the rocket launcher pad thingy, and you're about to come down on that platform, about halfway on your fall, you see another platform to the right. This platform, if landed on could save you about 10 or 15 seconds. There is also another thing exactly like this later in the level.

-Sky Deck Tips-
1. The first of this level is very easy. All you have to do is run along some platforms. In the second part it becomes a bit harder. Here's a tip that you can use that should help you with the A emblem. In the second part, which I beleive is on one of the wings of the Egg Carrier, near the wreckage of the cannon you destroyed in the first level, there is a jump pad. Use it. As for the third part, there's nothing to it, really. Oh, and at the part with the monkey bars where the ship turns onto it's side to tilt the ship, make suer that you make it to the very end set of the monkey bars, that way you won't have to climb so high to get to the highest part, which is where you need to get to. Then it's home free from there. Just some switchback pathways and a tunnel to get to the capsule.

And I'll also offer help, if Balisong'll let me. My strengths're more in 2D old-school than 3D, though. smile

I haven't played SA2 Battle, so I couldn't help you on that. Ask Shadow, or Nuala.
