Well.

Some of my favorite Korean movies that you haven't seen are:

Old Boy, I'm sure you've heard of it. It did well at Cannes. Really dark.

3-Iron is an artsy-fartsy romance between two people who never speak.

Someone Special (aka A Girl I Know aka Someone I Know) is Korean romantic comedy that makes fun of Korean romantic comedies.

Please Teach Me English - super hyper silly comedy about learning English. I think this movie does particularly well with people who are just being introduced to Korean/foreign cinema, because a lot of it is in English.

Just Do It, if you can find it, is a dark comedy about people hurting themselves to get insurance money.

Conduct Zero (aka No Manners)is a comedy about high school gangs in the late 70s - early 80s

Tale of Two Sisters - Freaking GORGEOUS horror movie. Beautiful cinematography

The Foul King - Dark comedy about cheating in masked pro wrestling.

The Quiet Family - dark comedy about murders in a bed-and-breakfast. Happiness of the Katakuris was a remake of this.

Take Care of My Cat is a chill movie about the strained relationships between former highschool friends who are starting to go their own ways.

Superstar Gam Sa Young - baseball comedy starring Lee Bum Soo, one of my favorite Korean actors.

Memories of Murder - murder mystery, based on a true story.

A Bungee Jumping of Their Own is a romantic drama that's unlike any romantic drama I've ever seen.

The President's Last Bang is about the assasination of a former Korean president. I usually hate political movies and I loved this one.

Lovely Rivals - hyper comedy about a junior-high girl, her irresponsible homeroom teacher and the man they battle each other over.

The Scarlet Letter starts out as a sexual melodrama, but eventually spirals into one of the darkest endings I've seen in a Korean movie. One of the lead actresses, Lee Eun-Joo, commited suicide after completing this film.

Hmmm I liked a lot of them. Though I did look on imdb for a review before I dling them. ^^'' I don't remember them all, so I'll say a tiny bit about them. >>'

Sex is Zero: Had a lot of "OMFGWTFAREYOUDOINGDONTDOTHATNOOOODONTDONTDONTDONTAHHH" moments. I liked it though. ^^ Didn't think it would get serious.
My Sassy Girl (of course): Good. Cheesey. Violence. <3
Il Mare (of course): Good, just good.
Christmas in August: Lacked something. Was good nonetheless. Sad
Once Upon a Time in High School: Bruce Lee = +, That slut = - . End of story.
Arahan: Really damn wacky. Fun.
My Tutor Friend: a*****e, Good Girl, love, good times.
My Little Bride: At first I was like... D biggrin biggrin biggrin : and then I was like :O:O:O Awww cute.
My Wife is a Gangster 1+2: Strong woman, good fun.
Too Beautiful to Lie: Did anyone else think he looked like an asian clark kent? Really odd. I liked it, really cliche though. >>'
Attack the Gas Station (of course): ******** GOOD. I think this is the first korean movie I've ever seen. Bull Dog is so awesome. XD so hardcore.
GO (not really korean but it's so damn good.): Favorite movie in the whole world, but not korean.
Tale of Two Sisters: Quite creepy. Ending was....eh. Suspenseful. Don't want to spoil it.
Please Teach Me English: I really really liked this one. I like all of the strange graphics in it when she thinks to herself. Kind of reminds me of shows like scrubs and various anime. Fun movie. ^__^

Jeebus... I didn't say much. oh well. >_>'
