Tomatos are a fruit, but ketchup is your government regulated serving of vegitables for the day. Who uses the word "colloquial" in everyday conversation?
To post something here, it doesn't actually need to be ironic, like that song by Alanis Morisette. It could just be something you notice.
For example, all the schoolbuses in my town have Firestone tires.
