Well, they are good considering no movie can capture the true essence of a great novel. However, the directors should not have cut out so much of the books.

Heck, if you made a movie that had everything in the book in it, the movie would be a saga...too loooooooooong.
I love the movies though smile

Yeah, right! if they put everything that are in the book, the movie would have so many parts. It'd be sooo long. I love every HP movie and the books as well. I'm an avid HP fan, you know. keke! 4laugh

Well the movies all look good, which I think is the big idea behind the movies. To show people (without magic) what it looks like. It has been done great.

The first two movies were the best. Afterwards they started to.. suck. Suck hard, at that. I had finished reading the third novel when the movie came out, and afterwards I watched it, it seriously pissed me off. It was soo off, I felt a strong urge to kill it. So, just a heads up for anyone out there, DO NOT READ THE BOOKS BEFORE WATCHING THE MOVIES. Btw, the second movie was the best. Seriously. heart

I loved the HP movies! heart But I was surprised that the weeping willow tree moved from the court yard to down on a hill, and Hagrid's hut moved too. The colors of the scarves changed from bright red and yellow to burgandy and gold. All the movies were good, I just don't like it when the new director puts HIS vision in the movie. Why fix it when it ain't broke??

The fourth one was sad. I always cry when I see it. The first three were great. I LOVE number 2! Fawkes is AWESOME! Though I love the hippogriff in number three. Do you know the detail they went into for Buckbeak? I did every barb on every vein on every feather. It took them months to make that one creature! That's why they did not have all of the other ones. They were behind schedule when they finished Buckbeak, and had no time for the rest.
