Looks like Lady Mirage and myself are the only ones participating in this rp. This makes my heart ache, as I was hoping more people would be interested. crying All I can do is get on my knees and beg...Please!!!! Please join us. gonk crying

The main idea that I had for the FF thread was to just use the same type of monsters and magic attacks, etc. If there is one thing that makes all the Final Fantasy games so unique is that its never the same story twice. Of course there are always a few exceptions to every rule. sweatdrop

Amaya brushes a loose piece of dark auburn hair from her face, as the wind rustles through the trees above her. The woods were almost as restless as she was nervous. This would be the first time that she had left her home, which is protected by the spirits of the planet, on her adventure to becoming the next Chieftess.

She smiles as tears form in the corners of her crystal blue eyes. Quickly she hugs her mother and sister before gathering her belongings. It would be awhile before she would return to them. She knew that she had a lot to learn about the outside world. Her mother had already taught her everything she knew in terms of using their people's magic, which of course would be helpful if she ever needed to protect herself.

Amaya sighs picking up her oak staff carved with many animals, a blue crystal fixed on the end as she slowly makes her way to the edge of her village. The two ivory feathers, attached to her staff by strands of leather, flap in the breeze as she uses it to keep her balance. She turns once more to face her friends and family to wave goodbye.

Jin bowed before her senshi, whos stern face gave away nothing as he told her student what was expected of her. "You are the top student of your years and perhaps higher," He told her quietly. "It is your duty to do what is needed, in order to perserve your world." "Yes senshi," Jin murmured, as expected of her. Senshi Sasuki looked at his top and favorite student. "Jinsie," He said, calling her by his pet name for her, "Your weaponary and mage skills can rival my own. I have taught you everything I know, and you have learned things by yourself." He touched the girl's head lightly. "In order to become the Mage Warrior of this world, you will first have to learn how to become a true protector of the worlds."

Jin stood up from where she was kneeling on the mat. "I understand," She nodded to the man who had treated her like a daughter for most of her life. Senshi Sasuki held out a single earring. "This earring has strong magic properties, it'll be a great essence to controling your powers." Jin fixed the small glowing fang-like earring to her left ear. Bowing before the assembly, she turned around, blinking away tears.

Outside, she whistled slightly as her animal guardian, Yuki. The large silver wolf appeared next to her. Slinging her few bags over the wolf's back, Jin made sure her bow and arrows were tight on her shoulder and that her wolf fang katana was tied to the side of the wolf. Climbing onto Yuki, Jin turned back to look at Senshi Sasuki who had followed her out. "Be careful, my daughter." He said, "The stars are showing signs of danger ahead." She nodded as he continued, "Use what is gifted to you, your magic and your skills were gifts from the gods. Use them as they were given to you." Nodding again, She gently dug her heels into Yuki. "Come Yuki," She whispered. "Let us be off." He nodded as his powerful legs took off and they soon soared into the sky, vanishing.

The forest was dark and the young man had been lost. He didnt know how long it had been, since the sun seemed to never rise in this land. No shelter, no food, he was nearly going to give up, when he saw a dim light in the distance. As he aproached a small building he peered thru the door into a vast library. This cant be possible, he thought cautiously steped inside, Such a small building containing such a vast library.

On the far wall, a grand painting of a dark figure hung. Suddenly the painting began to move on hinges away from the wall, as if it was hiding something. it was a black book resting upon a marble podium. Why would someone hide this book? The young man wondered as he went up and ran his hand over its cover, before slowly opening it. The pages where blank how strange. As he ran his finger across the pages edge to turn it, he cut his finger. A few drops of blood hit the pages and begin to spread to coat the entire book. Frightened, the man backed away but not quick enough. a hand quickly reached out of the center of the book and grabed him pulling him in before he could uter a sound. The book slamed shut then began to burn, a heat wave spreading thru the building like water.

Verdant emerged from the fiery building and drew in a long breath. He laughed and jumped rising into the air to see his suroundings. Verdant called out, " Children where are you?" As he called, deep under the bad lands, a light begins to burn in the castle Releashon's main hall as the nine statues begin to crack shaking the land. One after another, the nine statues stepped forward hearing their father's call. They burst thru the cealing and up thru the ground. Smiling, Verdant said, " Ahh here you are." The nine figures rise up and surround him, as one of them, Yeshula said quietly, "Father you're alive!" Verdant nodded, "Yes i am and it seems...so is the descendant of my captor...." He looked down and spied a young woman as she traveled under them, and said softly. "Amaya."

Amaya hums quietly to herself as she walks through the forest, still surrounded by familiar lands. She knew that no one would be able to harm her here. Otherwise she wouldn't be making so much noise. All of the creatures around these parts knew her and she chatted with them often. One of her gifts was being able to understand and communicate with animals.

It hadn't been too long that she had been walking, at least it certainly didn't feel that it had been. She wondered what time it was, but it wasn't really worried about it yet. She stops walking for a minute and looks up through the treetops to see where the sun was in the sky.

Amaya searches the treetops to see where the voice is coming from. It takes a moment before she spots her. At first all she can make out is what appears to be a female feline, wearing bright red. Not exactly the best choice for trying to hide in a mostly evergreen forest.

"Ah yes, well right you are...although, wearing such colorful attire does make one stand out in a place like this. Tho I do suppose you are well prepared to defend yourself if need be. I don't intend on attacking you, unless of course you make the first move." She holds onto her staff as she continues looking up into the tree that the stranger is in.

Amaya watches as the feline woman smoothly jumps down to the branch above her. Noticing how she is looking at her staff she loosens her grip, relaxing a bit. She actually felt somewhat at ease with the stranger, although she wasn't quite sure why. "Hmm, a good philosophy. Actually, I'm on a quest to Mount Nadoras. Do you know of it?" She continues watching her curiously.
