In a world torn by war and death a band of otherworldy beings begin to assemble. The Divine Fire, a radical group bent on " purifying " the world with their extreme religious beliefs. They will destroy any one and at any cost should they dare to innterupt thier campagin.


On the far outskirts of the providence, a group of rebels, growing in number daily, begin to assemble in preperation to overthrow this radical cult. The Knights of Dusk began with one man, a dark forboiding beast named Caylin. As their leader he has already organized a impressive number of soilders of all sorts.

The first stone has been cast, the war is already at hand. It is a fight for survival, for freedom...for the right of existance.

But who would be the victor...?

* There was a sick crack as Caylin promptly snapped the neck of a spy for the Divine Flame. The now disfigured solider lay twitching on the ground lifeless, his body already growing pale. He spit on the fresh corpse and grabbed it's skull, sending it bursting into flames. It's entire body engulfed in the inferno. *

" Worthless filth " he mutterd, " ..you don't deserve such a clean death."

He slowly waked into the abandoned town which was serving as their headquartes , the dust rolling across the barren ground in brief clouds behind him...

* He grasped the hilt of his sword leisurely between his fingers, above him on the roof top an enemy soilder tightened his grip on the trigger of his rifle *


"... Fools." Caylin closed his eyes.

* Caylin spun backward at the same moment the solider squeezed the trigger releasing the bullet from it's bowls. The cold steel met that of the bullet, sending it back into the assalients forehead. Gun fire rained out around him, there were at least eight of them. He stepped in and out of the bullets effortlessly *

" My turn " he grinned sadistically as he rushed forward leaping onto the ajacent rooftop.

* His right wing unfolded decapitaing the second solider, the air singing out as it blew through it. A large taloned hand fell upon the next, crushing it into a red and grey mush as it began to combust into flame. He tossed the flaming corpse at the now screaming enemy to his left, promptly engulfing him into the blaze. Bodies falling all around him, rooftop to rooftop bringing chaos and death. The last one ran frantically for the edge, jumping out into the air. *

"...where do you think your going..."
* His wings unfolded and propelled him swiftly through the air, grabbing the man by the back of his head. As he brought the screaming man's face into the ground the earth around them cracked and jutted out of the ground from the impact, a dark red liquid poured out from the mangled body*

" .... " His wings slowly receeded into his body and he regained his human form. Walking silently onward...
