I know that t.A.T.u. is now the official name, because Tatu/y was taken, but I am under the impression that Tatu/y is still the preferred name of the girls. Which one are we supposed to use?

Well, usually it's easier to use Tatu instead of having to capitalize and put in the periods, but if it's something more formal, I guess I'd go with t.A.T.u., just so no one looks down on you.
Haha. Not like that would happen, but, you get my point. smile

It is easier to just write tatu then having to capitilize and so on but I like t.A.T.u better then tatu/y

t.A.T.u. looks prettier, but I usually just type 'tatu'. I'm a bit lazy.

I use either one, see ppl in russia recongnize them as taty, but other countries tend to call them t.A.T.u. Mainly because yes, there is a group by the name of taty else where. I go with either one depending on how much of a good mood i'm in and want to put the periods lol
But their both kool

It is never pronounced 'Taty'. Тату is just the cyrillic way of writing TATU biggrin
