Virginity. it is a big thing in the world today. for some odd reason people at a young age are rushing to rid themselves of it like it is some kind of sickness. i don't know why, do they think it is a type of sickness or something? i really don't know why, and honestly, it confuses the s**t out of me. i think they mistake infatuation for love, and ensure that they MUST have sex with the people they love to make the relationship THAT much better.
my view is. i don't give a s**t about sex. i don't. i'm seventeen, i'm a virgin, and i'm not ashamed to tell anybody that. i'm not in a rush, i'm not trying to lose it to just any random girl. i don't think sex matters much, MAYBE because i haven't had it, i don't know. i just don't think it's that great. for me, i'm waiting for the girl i really love and want to stay with, so when i do lose it, i can say i lost it to the girl who was/is right for me. guys think their first time is going to be like a porn movie. that they can last for HOURS and hours on end, well, some girls don't want that, and for the first time, guys - you won't last more than twenty minutes.
on any day, i'd pick watching a movie with my girlfriend, or playing video games with her over having sex. i mean though, if the mood is right, the mood is right (knowwhati'msayin? wink ) recently, i've been hanging out with this girl from school, and i realized the other day, i only really checked out her physical side maybe once. her breast size isn't big, which doesn't even bother me, and i don't think she has an a**. but she has one of the greatest personalitys, and i really enjoy being with her.
so, let's have a discussion on virginity, people who rush off to have it, and why would you pick sex over a romantic night out?

Again, I'm a virgin, (And rightly so, in my opinion, at the age of 15, I mean, c'mon, I'm still a child.) But it doesn't matter to me. Virginity is just... a physical sign of something I havent done yet. I'm not in a rush to lose it, but it's not special to me either... Sooo... I dunno... I don't wanna do it untill I'm ready.

My opinion is that virginity is nothing really. I don't find it admirable, same as I don't find loss of it admirable. The whole concept of trying to lose it, or trying not to doesn't seem to make much sense to me. Granted, I do understand that if you’re not ready (in my opinion under that age of 16-18 ) then you really shouldn't lose it. The whole trying to lose it comes from the media, and the whole keeping it comes from religion. I always have told myself that when the time comes that it seems right, then that would be the right time. I’m not obsessed with sex any more than the next guy. Sex defiantly feels good, but it's nothing to base one's entire life around. I would rather gain mental stimulation like playing a game or watching a movie, than to engage in the physical stimulation that is sex. When the time feels right however, I will. I, am not a virgin anymore, but do not wear my loss of it as a badge or as a scar. To me, saying someone is/isn't a virgin, holds the same attributes as saying someone is tall/short. Big deal? It is annoying however when someone does brag about their state of virginity.

I think some people find it as a 'status symbol' and think you are 'cool'. To be honest, I'd rather keep my virginity then loose to and idiot who I'm going to regret for the rest of my life. I haven't been interested into getting into a relationship, I'd rather pass my degree and get some nice cash in first wink
I gotta agree about how wrong your first time is when it comes to sex. Younnin's think that it's like porn, when It's very painful and it hurts.
I also hate it when a guy has sex everyone thinks he's a hero and s stud, while if a girl has sex she's branded as a tart or slut stare

this girl at my school, she's 17, and then she came to school, and was telling people she was pregnant (and she wasn't).
then she took a pregancy test the other day, and then suddenly she really is pregnant. and she doesn't know who the father is because she cheated on her boyfriend with two other guys.
why would you want to tell people you're pregnant, if you really aren't?
talk about karma much. gonk

One girl had lost her three...yes... three kids, because she was a druggie. 8/10 Girls didn't know who the father was, one of them got married and wanted kids, the other one didn't planned, but her and husband decided to want to keep it, then the husband left confused It seems that media has gone and shouted "Hey, it's okay- no- it's COOL to have sex at a young age, then break up and have sex with two different people in a space of a day. You are l33t!" And I agree with you, when people are sallow and say they had sex with him/her, because he/she is "hot" and have big tits, nice a**/buff, and big c**k. I thought sex was supposed to be about passion, love and for reproducing. Have you considered that you may be A-Sexual? It basically means that you have no sexual desires or sex drive. There's a website all about it somewhere...
Anyway, i don't know how old all you folks are, but i'm 20. I didn't lose my virginity until i was 18. It wasn't the greatest experience, and i do sort've regret it. Sex isn't as pretty as it's made out to be, either. Not even when you try and make it romantic.
To young people, sex is just a fad. Teens learn about sex in school, and get curious. It's like a forbidden fruit, or a sign that says "Stay out" yet they still go exploring anyway. Then after a few people have tried it, peer pressure starts to form, and then you're singled out for not doing it yet, and then when you do you're considered something bad. It helps someone to feel supirior over another, and i also think that it's another way for a teenager to feel or prove that they're an adult.
Personally, i don't think sex is all that great. It feels good, from time to time. And my boyfriend and i definatly don't lack in it, but we're not like bunnies either. :/ I could probably go without it for a long time, just like you. But after having experienced it for the first time i can understand how some people want to do it a lot. It can be a nice feeling, especially with someone you love or think you love.

No, I'm just kidding. I cant really have a good say on this topic. I BELIEVE that you should wait until you find someone you are so comfortable with and trust and love so much that you are willing and agreeable consent to making love with them. It is indeed, at times, something special to share.
BUT sometimes, you THINK you have that person, and you share it and share it, only to find out that they really ARENT the one you love. Should you feel bad for giving it to them?
Sadly, I lost my virginity at the ripe old age of FOURTEEN. I THOUGHT i was ready, and I THOUGHT I was in love, and I THOUGHT that it would be a great thing to share.
But what the ******** to fourteen year olds know?
Anyway, being a Virgin can be a good thing or not, depending on your priorities and beliefs, but really, whats so great about celebrating the fact that you just put your reproductive organs together?
I guess its special at first, when you think about it that way, but after the first time, gosh, you just wanna do it because it feels good. [and you get that special tingle. surprised ] chills. xd
