Plot(Note: takes place after movie)
Happily reunited in their world of Alchemy the Elric brothers have peacefully living in Central. Al with his body back and his brother minus an arm and a leg but either way they are thankful the younger Elric has his body back and there is no worry of a Philosiphers stone. Yes, both still in the military but after recent events that have brought quite a concern to those close to the two they havn't had near as much to do. A change in government has lead to a slight decline in the militarys power and science is begining to pick up though alchemy is still going strong. And since there are still thos ewho rely on Alchemy the 'myth' of the stone is still alive and well.
As the brothers story was told and more people began to hear it, or the more important details, many copied their activities and tried to preform a human transmutation or soal binding and most have failed as the numorous before them. But of course there is always the lucky few who live to tell the tale but rather not, there are also who have plain out failed and in a last attempt they are now out to get the two brothers said to have the gate and it's powers on their side to do their work for them. It is said someone has successfully created a number of red stones and in taking in others 'failed' human and animal transmutations and is making new sins, this person is said to have worked in Lab 5 making chimaras and binding the soals of 'killed' inmates. What this person is planing to do if they get their hands on the blonde brothers is unknown. The hunt is on for the "Golden Elric Brothers"
