Another thread in this guild where someone wants to help with Astral Projection
http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=6523587

For meditation techniques please see this thread right here in our guild =3 http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?page=1&t=6498689

I can teach you how to do it. It is very difficult unless you already have a natural knack for it. NOT TO MENTION VERY DANGEROUS. Keep that one in mind.

I never knew what it was for like, my entire life. But also my entire life I would have strange 'dreams' where I would travel places and meet people. They could never see me or hear me, but sometimes they could feel me if I touched them. And I could see other things, not just people, I don't know if they were souls or what. But they were very few and far in between.

When I was a child we would go places and I would tell my mom and dad or whoever I was with that I was there before. They just blamed it on my imagination. Now don't get this wrong, it wasn't a deja vu, I have those too. It was me having actually BEEN there.

Now when I reached about 14 or so, that age where teenagers generally feel lost and alone and look for things that they can feel a part of...I was looking up all sorts of things on my computer. Oh wait...I was 15, didn't have a comp at 14 sweatdrop
Anyway I looked up how to look at aura's and all sorts of that kind of thing you know. I taught myself how to do it and mine is red with white swirls and a little bit of purple (whatever that means I can't remember.)

And then I came upon this Astral Projection. Well that sounded interesting and all! So I read about it and how HARD it was...And the whole time I'm sitting there like..."But it's not hard...I've always done it without even knowing..." But that certain website said it was impossible. Go figure.

So I wanted to make sure I was right and so I did the excercises it told me to do. Granted I skipped some since like I said yeah. And lo and behold it was just like those 'dreams' I had. But this time I wasn't somewhere I didn't know, I was in my bedroom looking at myself. It was kickass.

And my cousin didn't believe that I could do it. So I had her sit down in my room and let me do it. She couldn't see me but I touched her cheeks, arms, and then hands, before I came back. When I asked her where I touched she told me and was really freaked XD

Also my adventures where I knew what I was doing where quite fun. I remember these two guys I was following, and they had a dog. The dog could see me but they couldn't then I hugged the one guy from behind and he got all freaked out rofl .

And another time I walked in to this beautiful mansion. I was walking around but no one was there, and there was a vase on top of the fireplace that I wanted to look at. I was looking at it and i wanted to pick it up *you can't pick things up btw* but I could still touch it.

Then this woman walked in the room and dropped a glass and I turned to look at her. She could see me. I was shocked that she could see me so I hurried up and got out of there.

The last time I ever astral projected was a few years ago. When I woke from my body I was in the middle of a graveyard. The souls or whatever you want to say were so sad and ... depressed and trapped and lonely. They were trying to grab me and kept saying stay with us. But they could only move so far from their own given grave. O.O; Yeah that ended it for me. It was harder to teach myself to stop than it was to learn (well since I never really had to learn)

First off you have to know how to meditate, clear the mind, and slow things down like your pulse etc. Okay step one is complete.

Then it gets weird and hard to explain. Keep everything slow and keep your mind clear, stay calm. You will feel yourself start to go numb/paralyzed. Don't freak out! If you do you will just have to start all over or even worse you could get your soul stuck halfway in and out of your body.

If you succeed in to getting out of your body. Just look around. Don't really leave your bedroom or whatever room you're in. Because there IS a limit to how long you can stay out, and until you are more practiced, don't go far. Your body could die and leave you soul forever outside and unable to do anything. So be careful.

To get back in to your body to just think about it really, clear your mind and your breathing (You won't breath when you're in your astral form, but once your in it, you will know what I mean). And just think about your body.

You will 'wake up' with a crashing jerk like you just fell down a hundred feet lol. You know when you have nightmares and stuff where you just fall in your bed like someone threw you? Yeah, that's supposed to happen.

If you have any questions feel free to ask ^_^ I hope you believe me too cause I'm not making this up lol...This post is HUGE and...I would not spend this much time and effort making it unless it was a roleplay, witch it is NOT.

Does that falling thing happen with other things, because I get that feeling all the time, not even when I just woke up. Sometimes when I'm completely awake it'll just happen for no reason.

I don't know =/

I never had that happen before. Maybe you just startle easy?

I'm not sure that explains the actual sensation of falling, but I suppose it would explain why I jump when it happens.(one time one of my friends saw me jump after that happened and thought there was a bug on me or something)

I've only done it with projecting and dreaming, and seizures. I'll get the petite ones where I'll zone out and when I come to I'll do that jump thing. But it's nothing to worry about unless you do it all day or something.

Good chance it may just be your soul re-entering your body and you don't remember the journey. Or it didn't do it the whole way. Or maybe you just have falling dreams and do it too.

I have had maybe a half dozen times were I just had vivid day dreams were I vividly thought I was stepping off a cliff or down stairs. A few times I had tried to do that on purpose, and it worked after a while.

Wow and your body was still sitting/doing whatever as your other half went elsewhere? You must be really powerful if that's so O.O

I've had experience with the jerky feeling. But it'll be when I'm just about to fall asleep and I'll think of myself walking downstairs and then skipping backwards and I'll start with one of my arms above my head and a sudden jerk or something.
Also, as I try to get out of my body, I never can. I get to the numbing sensation, but I just can't step out without actually moving my body.

I'm actually fairly sure it's not siezures.(thankfully) I don't have any family history at least.(that and male pattern baldness are the only 2 things that aren't in my gene pool) I don't know, it usually happens when I'm almost asleep, but occasionally I get ones when I'm completely alert so something's gotta be up. Maybe I should be asking a doctor about this. sweatdrop

Well, theres been less then a handful of times when I saw a fist come at me when I was daydreaming, and ducked litterally. I'm sure when I was younger it was just my mind wandering, and not paying enough attention to reality to know it wasn't real.

It takes a lot of practice. That's normal.
