That's right everybody, according to a local fake newspaper here on Long Island the virus causing Homosexuality has been isolated. And whilst the paper is not posted online, rest assured it is wholly valid and an unbiased source. Why, just last week they ran an article detailing how to convert non-Christians from their devil-worshipping ways.
That being said, the gist of the article was that a particular virus causes the anomaly known as homosexuality. Scientists in a local basement had spent days running blood tests on many species, including humans, known to show signs of homosexuality in hopes of finding a particular anomally common to all homosexuals regardless of specie. And, whilst many virii and genes were found to be in similarity, only one bore the name Humanogayusmaximus, or HGM. This HGM, which is a virus, could not have been named such accidentally. Logically then the scientists hypothesed that this virus is the cause of "gayness."
Now that the HGM virus has been isolated work has begun to eradicate it. Good news everybody! Gays will soon be cured. The scientists have moved their operation from their mothers basement and into the abandoned Kings Park Psychiatric Center where they shall work drunk and fervently on a near monthly basis to cure this disease.
A cure to this disease would save many a soul. However, the scientists caution that residual effects may remain and psychiatric help shall be needed. As this is the case, I fully recommend the use of NARTH, or the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality. It is there belief that faggotry can be cured through the means of psychiatric therapy and we can rid the world of this scourge, both to us and themselves.
Obviously, despite all evidence to the contrary our ability to deny the truth as the American people shall help us overcome this pox and cure the Gays so that God will love them. For God does not love all his creatures, we decide which he loves to fit our own agenda, they need salvation. NARTH shall be the path to their salvation.

*sigh* I wish teh world would jsut shut up sometimes and learn to live n harmony and peace. You know, acceptance.
Something tells me it is a christian newspaper?
It reminds me- yesterday my friend read us an article on 'christians saving Wal-mart'.
Apparently, Walmart has this online shop set up where if you buy certain items from their online shop, 5% gets donated to a gay/lesbian organization.
Once these christians found out-
which comes as a suprise since the website has only sold an amount equalling to 41.$$ (and since it was a special that week, the gay/les. organization recieved 4 whole dollars!!)
- They called for a boycot on walmart for thanksgiving break.
*rolls eyes* another group, called- Christians saving walmart-or something like that, decided they 'needed' to save walmart from its evil, gay accepting ways because they are selling Brokeback mountain.
*sigh*. These christians are so selfish (those christians, not most) thining that their way of life is the only one and that they are 'saving people'.
And saving walmart- what an oxymoron, huh?

Maybe we should break the news to these Extreamists and Scientists at the fact that:
Homosexuality is in the genes. You are born with it. NO, you can't change it. Just leave them alone and campange for something more useful. It just proves that Scientists have nothing better to do then show off their facsim (sp?).
I remeber they showed a documentary about these Christians groups where they convort you striaght. A British gay man went over to America to see what it was about. He said it was basically brainwashing and bulling, with a mixture of Christianity. When he was "cured" he was allowed to go back to Britian. 3 Months later he gets a boyfriend wink
Although lets not forget that not all Christians are like this, it's mainly the extreamists that give them a bad slate. I've also notice that the other Religions (Hinduisim, Jewdaism, Buddism, Muslim, Skithism) have nothing wrong with it per say; they don't 'mind' gay people it's when they are 'sexually' active.
And they make it out as to be some new gimmick. Do they even know that homosexuality has been around since Acient Greek times? Homosexuality was in fact encouraged in thoes times, because it made the soldiers bond better and well, generally fight better. It was encouraged in the Ancient Roman times as well. So really, it's been there since the begining of time, so it's not something that popped out in the 70s confused
Why can't be people just be acceptent about things like this? Throughout the 1900-1995 it was racisim now it's Homosexuality. It's like a fad to hate a group of people for each decade. rolleyes
I just realise that's a picture of Eastenders. Two actors kissing, and getting paied for it. Just thought I'd point that out xp

And it's not as if the Catholic Church didn't marry homosexuals during its early life. Oh no, not at all. But then, the Bible had less chance at perversion and words invented by people like King James (i.e. sodomy) had not yet been added to the text. It's amazing to me to see all these Christians bashing homosexuality. I always ask them if they're reading the same Bible I do, then I remember they aren't. They are reading something so far off from the original texts it is sacrilegious to even suggest it be referred to as the Bible.
Really, the only thing in the Bible that declares anything wrong with homosexuality is in Leviticus, which is of course the Mosaic Laws Jesus fulfilled and now no longer apply to his followers. And even that was minimal, I've forgotten the actual quote, but it was in the rules pertaining to cleanliness and it prohibited male-male a**l sex. And that is the only bit of text I can think of that says anything to the sins of homosexuality, and it's nullified anyway.

God, even if a cure for homosexuality were found, I'd never take it. If I were heterosexual, given the circumstances of my upbringing, I'd probably be a horrible person.

How I see it? Live and let live.
So there are extremists and fundamentalists and people who think that dinosaur bones are a great cosmic hoax and unicorns really do exist.
The crazy guy dont the street from me swears that the only reason the French helped us in the Revolution was because Lafayette wanted to get into Washington's pants. (To be fair, I cant prove that ISNT the reason)
There will always be bastards, and jerks, and intolerance. And the tolerant, intelligent people pf the world will have to learn to ignore them. If enough people ignore them, they will loose power.
But remember: NEVER underestimate the power of stupid people in big groups.
To end intolerance, we have to properly educate the public; not by screaming it down their throats, but logically, calming and with real cold hard facts.
So they want to cure Gayness? I want to sure stupidity. Which one seems to be a greater threat?
