I rented The Playstation Game yesterday. I'm so surprised, it's so much like the GBA verison. Though they didn't tell you how to play at all. >.< I lost the second battle. XD I'm really bad.
But I don't understand why people think they're so different, they're very similar. Though the story is nothing alike.

I know the nintendo fanboy/girls are going to jump me for this, but tactics IS in fact, geared towards adults, where as tactics advance is geared towards kids. I personally enjoy tactics more. The story is much deeper, and more adult oriented (war, strife, assassination plague the land and a puppet government is slowly reviving dark gods to bring about the apocolypse VS Some kids get stuck in a book, how do you get them out) Plus the lack of a judge system is beautiful. The one thing that Advance wins is the classes are much more balanced. There isn't any reason at all to persue ANY magic classes. They're useless. Plus, who needs any class at all when you've got the swordmasters? (Holy knight, dark knight, Holy swordsman, Arc Knight).
Sorry, I ramble. But yes, in the end I liked the first one a lot better, if only for it's story, and the method in which you learn abilities (I find it strange that holding a sword will teach me to summon missles from the air (see nighthawk))

I'm going to put Tactics on my christmas list, I'll probably get it since it'll be one of the cheaper things on my list. Most of it are things that don't exist. I need to take Wii off because I just got that.

I mean it. The Wii, there is no level of appriciation and love that one can give it. It is truly a great system. Compared to the PS3, it's graphics suck...but it makes up for it with....EVERYTHING else! It can only lose in the graphics department. But graphics aren't what Wii was aiming for, Nintendo probably knew that they were beat so they made the Wii better over all.
And that name. XD For some reason, I can't stop loving it's name.

That would be awesome!! The characters would be awesome! :3 And more missions and more classes. More items. And all the characters could look different. That would be so cool!
