Does anyone have any issues of the old Sonic comic books? I used to have a lot when I was living with my parents still, but my Mom sold them in a garage sale crying
Has anyone read the 'Endgame' comic? That was the last one I ever read, it was at the part where Sally and Sonic were climbing up a wall, and Sonic made it to the top first, and cut Sally's rope. She fell and then she died later, and King Acorn damned him to hell or something like that, I don't presicley recollect what he said. I can't find the following comic, what happened in the next issue? I was just curious, I'm trying to find it.
So which ones does everyone own? biggrin

I have every one except a few of the early issues.
I have a complete collection of issues from the UK comic before it went reprint, too.

It turns out that she wasn't really dead.. just was in stasis.. and Robotnik dies. Nuala I have every one except a few of the early issues. I have a complete collection of issues from the UK comic before it went reprint, too. Lucky.. I just have the archie ones.. Stopped reading it when they started doing like.. 2 stories an issue..

I'd have preferred Endgame to go with its original plotline, before Sega forced Penders to change it after two months.
I don't want to post spoilers offhand and it'd take me a little while to type out, so... is anyone interested in what Endgame should have been?

After Sonic did his Sleeping Beauty routine, Sally was supposed to have a personality change, gradually driving a wedge between Sonic and the other FFS, until the team fragmented and the FFs were pushed into the background. Only Tails would've suspected that something wasn't right. About one year and twelve issues later comes the revelation: it isn't the real Sally. It's an auto-automaton, programmed to isolste and kill Sonic. The real Sally really did die in the fall in issue 50, and the body was switched by Dr. Quack. The upshot would be the virtual removal of the FFs from relevance to the storyline, making Sonic and Tails so much closer, and generally making things a lot more SegaSonic. You may've noticed that nobody ever revealed who planted the boobytrapped medal on Sonic in issue 51. That was to've been the first thing the fake Sally did - and at the time it was released, Penders was still fighting Sega to keep the original plotline and Sally dead.
