I haven't seen this thread created yet so..
Manga theories!
What are your theories about the manga? What do you think will happen in the future? Who is this mysterious Pride? What's going to happen to Ling and Lan Fan? Rentanjutsu? How is connected with everything else? What about the Ruins of Xerxes?

Renkinjutsu is derived from rentanjutsu if I remember correctly. I've been trying to form a theory about that, but nothing good has come up yet. <.<
I think.. the original Greed was a human that managed to fight free of the sin inside of him. That's why he's so different from the Greed that took over Ling. What do you think?

i'm only up to book 7, so I can't make any real predictions, but I just had to say
book 7 made me laugh the hardest =3 how weird is that?

There's been some speculation that Kimbley may be Pride; otherwise, why does he keep showing up? Especially NOW?

I have a theory that the military will become greatly involved in the destruction of Amestris. I also believe that sometime in the series, Roy WILL become Fuher! *yes*
I also believe that Al WILL get his body back by the end of the series. If he doesn't, I shall cry. emo And then I'll become emo.
I also believe that Ling will either die, or become un-homunculified somehow.

I read somewhere (moslt likely Wiki) that Homomculus are only loyal to their master for a short time;
so the remaining Homunculi are going to betray father and kill him.
Or possibly only Envy..
Either way, Father's gonna die

I'd put my money on Ling!Greed being the one to betray Father.
I think Envy will die somewhere in the north soon. Since envy as the original sin is supposed to be punished be freezing water or something. Lust was supposed to be burnt to death, and that actually happened, so I'm kind of betting there's a pattern.

Well, both Izumi and Hohenheim are getting some more air time, and we finally know where Father came from. With all of these secrets being revealed, I wouldn't be surprised to see FMA nearing its end.
I'm thinking that Ling/Greed is gonna be a good guy (seeing as how the two get along well, and Ling does have good intentions). Lan Fan should definitely get the auto-mail, and hopefully come back into play.

I think Lan-fan will get the auto mail eventually. She can't do anything without it, and I get the impression that the feeling of being useless will get to her.
but maybe that's just me
