All right, I'm a bit miffed today - idiots on the road. A bit of a rant, but I normally ride on the left side of the road on one part of my bike ride, just because it's easier as the turn I will make after that part is left. Now, I was riding home, and there's a light at this left turn when I'm going home. The light was green, so I sped up so I could hit the green and not have to wait. Someone proceeded to make a right turn RIGHT INTO MY PATH. I went around them and cursed under my breath, because they quite obviously did not look where they were going. and could have killed someone. Bear in mind it would have been worse had the driver decided to honk at me or yell at me as if they owned the road.

So is road rage sometimes justified, like when people do something completely idiotic that they shouldn't do (and would get them put completely at fault if what they did caused an accident) or is it never a good course of action?

I have a problem with road rage that becomes more expressed when I listen to Metallica.

Other than that...it happens. Roll with it, don't kill anyone, and you'll be good.

Getting angry while driving is perfectly fine until it affects you in an adverse way. As long as people don't act on your anger they'll

Bikes and Cars the never ending dispute over who gets the right of way. NAturally on a bike you are a pedestrian thus in my veiw you always have the right of way. Though sometimes when you change your speed like you did the car in question (Person Driving it) May have had a problem estimating how soon you would have crossed their path.

I have the same problem here on a 4 way intersection. Had to jump off of my bike to avoid the car.

With the road Rage hting be careful it can get pretty bad.

To get on topic though. I think that somtimes Road Rage is Justified but not in the Rage sense so we can call it...uh..Road Discussion?

With Accidents its never okay to lose your cool in the Rage sense because in the end youll end up getting yourself in more trouble then the d**k that caused the accident. Unfortunatley Im a road Rage type. ^^; Even on my bike Ill scream at Morons in Cars.

Here in my country we have the oposite problem...

Them bikers think they own the world, actually DK is very very nice to those on bicycle they have their own "cycling roads" there doesn't exist such a concept in english I think.

Road rage is bad always, I saw some surprising statistics about the rise of road rage occurences in DK... hmm don't remember it right now.

In my opinion, road rage is okay, to a point. Its normal to get angry at the slews of idiots who besige our mental bastions everyday, so just go with it. But once you cross into the realm of using your car to vent, well, then theres a problem.

Gah, what kills me is the assholes on the Deerfoot highway (to those of you not Calgarian, this term effectively translates into "Godless Monstrosity of Traffic and Sorrow") and other main roads in my city who cut in front of people about 20 times in the span of half a kilometer in an attempt to get home faster. Firstly, it holds everyone up. Secondly, the risks of your getting anally raped by a front bumper rises dramatically, especially since it's winter and nobody in Calgary, despite our always getting icy roads about now, knows how to drive on ice. Thirdly, it pisses everyone off and makes them want to kill you. ******** MORONS. Ugh... this is why I avoid borrowing my dad's car unless I'm having to transport something large somewhere or doing something nowhere near an LRT station or bus route. Ye gods, why have ye forsaken me in a city full of morons who always ignore the inevitable (the icy death-ness) and obvious (the results and futility of cutting)?
