Japanese voice actors and the American voice actors--how do they compare with each other?
~~---------------------------~~ Which do you prefer in KKM--the English, or the American voices? What voices make you want to vomit? What about ones that make you want to take the VA and lock him or her in your basement.
Here are the ones I dislike:
Dakascos (or whatever his name is), Japanese I just find his English voice better suited and funny.
Greta, American In my opinion, in the American version, Greta sounds completely like a 30 year old woman trying to sound young. The Japanese VA does a better job at sounding younger.
Josak, Japanese I don't know what it is exactly that makes his voice sound strange, but whatever it is, I don't think it fits Josak.
Julia, Japanese She sounds too young in the Japanese version, I think. The English voice seems to fit her more.
Ken, American Same as Josak.
Yuri, Japanese I don't really dislike the voice actor--it's rather that I prefer the English one. I'm not really sure why, though.
Wolfram, American I once heard someone say that Wolfram's voice sounded like something crawled in his throat and died in it. o_o; I think that the voice actor is fine, I just don't like her being Wolfram's VA.

I will say I favor the Japanese over the english, mainly because I can not stand Wolfram's and Gunter's american voices. Although I do like Yuuri's american voice actor....... but yeah the Japanese version is may favorite.

i haven't seen much of the dub or KKM. I've only seen the first two volumes of the dub so i can't say much about it. But so far this is my hate list for the voices:
Wolfram - American - his voice doesn't seem good to me, it matches his arrogant attitude but in some scenes it can be bad.
Murata Ken - American - His voice doesn't match that well
Yozac - Japanese - it is just weird to me
And that is all in my complain list so far
All in all i say both versions of KKM were good, i was surprised with the english version it was really good
EDIT: Poll is tied at 33% for everything! xD sorry had to do it

I think Yozak's amercan voice seems ok but for the rest i love all the japanese voices.
Conrads in english just sounds to weird, Wolframs isnt fitting for him to me personally and Gunter's...I dunno it just irks me. talk2hand

I wouldn't really mind the Dubbed, if Konrad's Voice Actor didn't make my soul die. crying I really like his and Yuuri's Japanese voices much better. Though, I like Gunter's in English.

I'm definately not a huge fan of the English VAs.
Forst off, KKM in english reminds me so badly of Digimon. Uck, sometimes it makes me sick! D;
But I adore some of the seiyuu for the Japanese! It's an amazing cast, especially with Kazuhiko Inoue and Mitsuki Saiga and Takahiro Sakurai! <33

I Perfer the Japanese Voice Cast myself though the English voices aren't bad ^_^ some make me cringe.

The only character's voice actor that I actually like in English and Japanese is Conrad's. ;P

Omg you like something about Conrad! =O I love Conrad Jap voice. the english voice i dotn care much for. I love all the Jap voices even Wolframs but i love Yuuri's and Conrads voices together. thats part of the reason i started loving ConYuu.

Omgeeee no! why didnt anyone tell me! gonk I guess im just not very good at telling girl from guy voices. xD Maybe i should go get my hearing checked. If its as bad as my eyesight then im in trouble. >.>

American dub Wolfram = Izzy.
Unlike a lot here, I like the American dub better. ::ducks::
I don't have a problem with the Japanese version, but reading the subtitles during the episode is just too much of a hassle. D: Heck, even if I did learn Japanese and did understand it, I would still choose the American dub because it's easier for me in my native language.
