I could spend hours debating on how wonderful I think this pairing is...But I'll just put the basics of my opinion. Here we go!

Following Posts May Contain Slight Spoilers from Currently Running Anime Episodes and Part Two of the Japanese Manga. You have been warned.

Naruto and Sakura's personalities fit well, which makes them very good for one another. Putting Sakura with Naruto, the lonely boy she used to glare with, would show GREAT improvement in her character, and for Naruto, it would give him a chance to understand love, to be with someone he truly cares about.

Promises - he's made so many promises to protect her, and has done his best to fufill them. True enough, he has failed in bringing Sasuke back, the only favor she said she'd ever ask him. But everyone makes mistakes - and he tried. Naruto knew how much Sakura cared about Sasuke, but he still did all he could to make her happy. Does this not make you see how perfect they'd fit together?

Of course, this is merely my opinion...Pairing Sakura with ANYONE who was lonely in their childhood would do good for her character development - besides Sasuke, I'd think. It wouldn't do much of anything. Because she was always crushing on him, always trying to watch over him.

Look closely at the moments post. Now, see the differences between Sakura? Slowly, she started changing. At first, she basically hated Naruto. Then she'd grin for him, scold him with a smile, cheer him on, smirk when people said he was weak, knowing otherwise, cry for him. Even the fillers give hints! Just look at the evidence, and you'll see that I'm telling the truth.

NaruSaku Moments - From the Beginning

Well, we all know that Naruto Uzumaki has harbored a crush on Sakura Haruno since the beginning of the series. Sakura, who was first annoyed by Naruto's words, teased him and acted like he was badly brought up. Thanks to Sasuke, she realized that she shouldn't be so cruel - and thus, Sakura and Naruto's relationship had already started developing.

Team Choosing

When Sakura finds out that Naruto is on her time, she drops her head sadly, until hearing Sasuke's name, where she jumps for joy. Later that day, Sasuke tells her off for disliking Naruto for his family, and she works her hardest to smile at him, making Naruto feel better about the whole thing.

Episode Three - SasuSaku Kiss (Thanks Kairi.nin for this NaruSaku moment!) After Naruto transformed as Sasuke in Episode 3[Chapter ?], Sakura had a daydream about Sasuke telling her that he liked her forehead. Then in reality 'Sasuke' said the exact same thing. It could have possibly been a foreshadowing, showing how Naruto was her 'dream' guy all along.

Zabuza - Mist Arc Beginning (Thanks again, Kairi.nin! I remember this part now!) Then there's that part when they first meet Zabuza, and Naruto shows his determination. She's blushing, if I remember correctly, and wonders what this 'feeling' is that she's having.

Journey to Mist Arc - Sasuke's Dead Sakura, after the battle between Haku, Sasuke, and Naruto, yells to Naruto, asking him where Sasuke is. Naruto makes a shocked face, suddenly scared for her sake, knowing how much she cares about Sasuke, and at the same time, believing he is dead. He sniffs through the tears, and Sakura stares in shock, before running to see if Sasuke is alright. Naruto was, again, worried for Sakura's sake.

Chuunin Exams - Writen Exams When Sakura sees Naruto having trouble over the written chuunin exams, even though she has answered every question without difficulty, she begins to raise her hand, willing to exclude the entire team until next time just to give Naruto a second chance. When Naruto raises his own hand and announces that he won't give up, she grins, sets her hand back down, and continues on, trusting that he'll do fine.

Chuunin Exams - Forest of Death When Naruto wakes up, you see he's having a dream where he's protecting Sakura from Orochimaru. This may, of course, just be him being obsessive over her, but at the same time, it could be a foreshadowing. Right? Right.

Chuunin Exams - Kiba and Naruto's Fight When Kiba is fighting Naruto, and beating Naruto to a pulp at the beginning, Sakura cheers him on, knowing that he has changed a lot since she first met him, and knowing that he can win. When Kiba says he can beat Naruto, hands down, she exchanges a smirk with Kakashi, both of them agreeing on how Naruto was changed. She continues to cheer him on durring his fight.

Chuunin Exams - Sakura and Ino's Fight Everyone is watching Sakura and Ino fight, and it continues to go on in perfect equality. Naruto, seeing that Sakura is starting to lose it, continues to cheer her on, like any good friend would. But when Ino traps Sakura in her mind control, NARUTO is the only one who calls out to her, whether loudly or obnoxiously, he still brought Inner Sakura out, causing there to be a tie, and helping Sakura. Afterwards, she thanks him, and he tells her "You're welcome. Without me, you'd have lost!" and she grudgingly agrees.

Chuunin Exams - Finals After Naruto's fight with Neji, Sakura, even though in a bad mood that Sasuke hasn't returned, continues to cheer him on. She has started showing much more support for Naruto since the chuunin exams, now knowing how hard he works to be accepted, and understanding him better, after being on the team with him. Even Ino admits that her team is pretty awesome, even after she mentioned that they suck, besides Sasuke.

Chuunin Exams - The Gaara 'Issue' Thanks Underworld for the moment! ;D After the whole Gaara issue during the chunin exams, Sakura thanks Sasuke for saving her from Gaara. Sasuke then says that it was Naruto the one who had saved her, not him. Then Sakura looks at Naruto surprised and then smiles.

Sasuke Leaves - A Single Favor Sakura admits to Naruto that she couldn't convince Sasuke to stay in Konoha, even after admitting she loves him and that she'd do nearly anything for him. She asks Naruto for one single favor - bring Sasuke back, please. He accepts this, now understanding how much she really loves him, and willing to wait. He promises to bring Sasuke back - and unfortunatly - he fails to get Sasuke back. This promise was made as a signal - he's willing to wait for Sakura to get over Sasuke.

Time Skip - Sakura Flirts A Lot After the timeskip, Sakura has changed A LOT. She's REALLY strong, and inner Sakura is no longer appearing, though the traits from Inner Sakura are now developed into Sakura herself. Sakura has become a bit more cocky and more of a loudmouth, but the strangest change was her new flirting with Naruto. A lot of it. Not just a little. She accepts to go on a date with him. A few times. UNFORTUNATLY - Naruto is completely oblivious. But, she's trying.
