What kind of Bad a** automail would Lan Fan probally get?
Should she be in the Anime?

Okay, I don't care what VIZ says. Her name is RAN Fan. That other translation... just sounds absolutely stupid to me. All references to her VIZ name in the below post have been corrected. ^-^
Arm cutting off- Awesome or Not? Well, she did it to save Ling, and anything done for that purpose is automatically awesome. (Similarly, anything done by Ling to save Ran Fan is also automatically awesome.)
What kind of Bad *** automail would Lan Ran Fan probally get? Hopefully, it will have at least as good quality as Winry's, if not better. She deserves good automail.
Should she be in the Anime? Heck yeah! She definitely deserves to be in the anime more than Dante. If they ever make a sequel to the movie, they'd better have Ran Fan in it. Ling too. Maybe not Fu though... he still needs punishment...
To what extent would Lan Ran Fan follow Ling? To the end? Absolutely. She would follow him even if it meant her own death. But then, Ling probably wouldn't allow her to die.
Hair up or down? Either way is fine with me.

Arm cutting off- Awesome or Not? Hm. It was.. very interesting to say the least. I thought it was extremely brave of her.
What kind of Bad a** automail would Lan Fan probably get? xD No clue. Something with hidden weapons inside though.
Should she be in the Anime? Nah, the anime doesn't follow the storyline of the manga, so.. no. Things are too different. If they redid the anime or made an alternate version of it though, she should definitely be in it ^^ Either that or they change some of the details so that in a future movie all the Xing people could be in it.
To what extent would Lan Fan follow Ling? To the end? However far she wants to take it x] I agree with Bridgit, she would probably go as far as it takes, but Ling just wouldn't let her.

Well I was rereading volume 8, I think, and Lan Fan was suprised at how Ed had used his own arm to make a trap. I guess she used this knowledge to not only help save herself, but to help Ling. I guess it was pretty noble and brave thing to do.
What kind of Bad a** automail would Lan Fan probally get?
Something amazing. Like, like, one that could automatically throw daggers and be all like, "WHOOSH! I KILLED J00!"

All the way to the end of her life, though it would take a while for that to happen. Ling would never allow her to die.

I love how Arakawa-sensei puts so many kick-a** females into the manga. I know that in one of the mangas she says that she grew up in the country where there are lots of working women.

I bet 90% of those who crossed out the Viz spelling of Ran fan pronounce it that way mad SERIOUSLY. VIZ IS JUST TRYING TO KEEP PEOPLE FROM PRONOUNCING IT WRONG. LEAVE IT PLZKTHKS.

I do pronounce it "Ran Fan". I think it sounds cooler. Don't ask. I don't really care all that much about pronunciations. I want to get a copy of her name in Japanese and ask a Japanese person how to pronounce it.

& I drew Lanfan at school on Friday! 3nodding  The reason this one looks so weird, if because it was done at school & on manilla paper. so i cut it out & put it on scetch book paper.... & trust me, it looked alot better before I colored it... >.> (& no flames saying "Z0MG Y0U SP3113D R4NF4N WR0NG!!1!1!!11one! Because I don't care, I like the term "Lanfan" better) what do you think? =O
