Played it a few times and it was good, it wasn't a great fighting game or a perfect db/z/gt game but it saved the db/z/gt game from extinction.

Ironically enough, people liked it when the Budokai series took a trip to the cel-shaded side of life, but my dad feels that the 3D graphics found in the original Budokai was a lot better. Weird. eek

eh, It was a great way to start off the Budokai series.

This game was a shitty waste of time that only survived because of retarded fandom. Every Budokai after this one made this game look like a shitty pile of shitty s**t.

in a way I agree with you but think about it this way; if Dimps didn't make this style of game in this series we might have been stuck with another DBZ:UB22 or DBGT:FB. If it wasn't for the success of DBZ:B there wouldn't be as many DBZ games today, including your favorite SuperDBZ. It was a step in the right direction and help keep the series alive, I applaud there efforts and thank them for the trillogy that saved and pioneered the series.

Right on sarriss,I feel the exact same way. Although I seriously dont agree with Jubeh cus I loved the game alot. Specially the story mode thanks to the effort of adding in "cutscenes" that looked pretty good at the time although ofcourse it's graphics and gameplay are seriously dated now thats it's five or so years later but I can still go back to it and have some fun.

Yea the story mode of this game was what really made it stand out the most to me, i still go back and play it just for the story mode, i wish they would really take the story mode into the newer games

The story mode in this game was rather short, but then again... the first Budokai was more like an example to test a new fighting engine and idea. sweatdrop

This is the game that made me want a PS2; I don't know why though because it really didn't push the technology of the PS2.

It was still a cool game though.

I got this game by accident. My dad brought it home because some guy at his job was giving away games. xd

thats cool! my parents hate games and I've never gotten any attention payed to my games nor any games brought back for me. In a way you could say I was a closet gamer for most of my life, but not anymore becasue of my 32" lcd tv and X360, just try fitting those in a closet.

My parents didn't mind when I was younger, but now that I'm on my way to college they think I should stop and focus on schoolwork more (not that I'm a bad student). xp
