I never much liked this one but it made the series a bit more serious as a db/z/gt game and included a lot of cool characters. The animation and art style also broke new ground with a full on cell shading technique that would be toned down and refined in later games.

I really want to play b3 but its too painfull to watch, all those stupid mini games piss me off and the graphics don't do its justice, I can see how b2 would be more playable with its pure cell shading which is so clean. Also, a lot of ppl give it a hard time for the story mode but I like it.

Yea I liked the board like game. And The Pure Fighting engine was alsome. The way every character felt different and they all had different combos for there attacks, and many ways to do them. You had the Three button Combo and the 10-13 button combo for one attack. You could do the three button but it would do alot more damage for the longer one. Which made u want to use it. And you need to learn timing and skill to dodge attacks not just pressing a button. In B3 and BT you have all three button combos and Thats it, not very hard. lol. At least thats what I got outta it.

BT2 has some really serious combos, if you're good(and it does take practice) you can pull a 20-30 hit combo, where as bt had a 4-6 hit limit depending on the fighter.

I like SC3(own it) but I don't like how cheap the comp is at times.

I tried playing this game at a friend's house, but it failed to impress me. It just seemed lacking everywhere to me.

I think my main quarrel with Budokai 2 would have to be Dragon World... I'll say this time and time again, but that stupid board game got really tedious after like the second world... especially during the Cell Saga when you practically have to chase after Cell just to fight him and then he somehow ends up getting knocked back onto Dende's regeneration point. gonk

I like B2 over B3 because you could bust out more moves and combos and others actually have a chance of countering with out any serious skill. While in B3 all you have to do is bust out dragon mode...or something and automatically do that super move. But some of the things in B3 are pretty cool too.
