Mei's a kid, and she was raised differently than you were. She doesn't do things to be mean, I just think she has her own goals and principles. Ran Fan would have cut Mei down without a thought. They were BOTH injured, remember? And Ran Fan is probably a much more experienced fighter than Mei. They were both merely protecting their persective clan's honor. A little old-fashioned, true, but it's something a true knight or samari would have done, and I can respect that. Most young girls these days are a little shallow, she'll get over it. I used to fantasize about marrying a handsome prince, why can't she?
