many years ago, the government placed a drug into the water to help promote the growth of abbilities in newborns. those that drank the water and had a child. these kids were granted special abbilities, thought htey only seemed to be active in their dreams, slowly growing. ultimately they would manifest themselves in reality. they vary form simple differences in apperance to great powers if not both. the question remains though, who can you trust? the government wants to capture them for study. Some even work for this government, trying to find them and turn them in.

Kiroku slowly stumbled out of bed, he been having the same image of a young woman in his dreams, the girl a beautiful young woman with long blond hair, and a curvy body as well as bright cat ears and the tail. "it's weird, i keep having that dream...' he mumbled, and walked over to the TV, and turned it on. slowly he started to watch as the news told of what had really happened with the water. Kids al over the same age or so as him had been developing great powers, and many misused them, being abducted by the government. "n-no, I couldn't be one of them..." he mumbled, staring in shock.

Quickly Kiroku picked up the phone, and called Mystery, to see if he had heard the news.

Mystery was still sound asleep...the phone rang once and he turned on his side. Again and he was on his back again. Then finally he awoke and picked up the phone near his bed. "Yeah what is it?" he said quietly and groggily. On the caller ID he had on the phone screen it said 'Kiroku' so he usually said what he just said.

"Get your a** out of bed and tun on the news. The government pumped chemicals into us before we were born!" he cried sounding like a lunatic. he could have just gone to the next apartment to talk to Mystery but he usually called first.

"Oh don't get so dramatic." he said and turned on the TV in his room with the remote. "Hm..powers? I haven't had any powers they're talkin about or change in appearance...but I do have weird dreams." he scratched the back of his head.
((If you didn't know; Lucid dreaming is the ability to control your dreams. I kinda have this IRL but I easily screw it up in a dream xd and there will be no exception to screw it up in this! xp ))

"Well if what the government says is true then we just pretend that we don't have anything special about us. After all..." he shrugged. "We have nothing different as far as I know." he said not noticing the length of Kiroku's hair at all. He never paid attention to that sort of thing.
