Alright, I must say that ADORE this man. In my eyes, he is a genious, his art is absoloutly BEAUTIFUL. And I must also say that my favorite movie he ever made was The Nightmare Before Christmas. I look at it in an artistic way, rather than a fashion statement- though I do have some of the clothes! I think it's a wonderful story and a beautiful work of art, and like the tags on the merchandise say- "The Tale of a Well-Meaning Skeleton's Dream..." Which is definently one of my absoloute favorite quotes to describe it. If I were to meet Tim Burton, It'd be a huge honor. Though I do appreiciate and love all of his other art, too. I am also very fond of "Vincent", which a lot of people haven't heard of. Look it up! I used to remember the whole poem by heart, but I haven;t seen it in a while. I also do admire the poem for one of the Corpse Bride trailers, which I'm not sure is by Mr. Burton, but it sure does sound like it. See, I'm not into his movies for Johnny Depp, or just one of those typical girls (I gues you could call them Emo or Goth, but I don't like to label that much) who just goes around saying "He's awesome", with no reason behind it or anything. I actually apriciate what he does as art- not just some fad. I just absoloutly adore his art- he is my favorite artist of all time. Here is a list of my FAVORITE films by him, from what I've seen, and my absoloute favorites starts at the top:
The Nightmare Before Christmas Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Tim Burton's Corpse Bride Beetlejuice Edward Scissorhands

I love Tim Burton! I haven't seen his movies in a while, but they're really good. I like his characters and how different they seem from the normal. The Nightmare Before Christmas is the best out of the ones listed above. Jack Skellington is way cool! ^_^

I love Tim Burton! I love almost all of his movies. The couple of exceptions are Planet of the Apes and Mars Attacks. I think he does some of his best work when he's with Danny Elfman and Johnny Depp (and in more recent films, Helena Bonham-Carter). I love them, too. I don't just love Johnny for his looks, though. I love him for his amazing acting ability and utter fearlessness with his roles. (But I have to admit he IS gorgeous. whee )
My favorite Tim Burton movies are... Batman, Batman Returns, Frankenweenie, Vincent, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, Big Fish, Sleepy Hollow, Beetlejuice, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. So, the majority of them. xd
