This was one of the turning points for DB/Z/GT games being one of the first actual fighting games. It featured a split screen which kicked in when characters were far enough apart. The melee was slow but was cool anyway. Ki moves were the best part really, but a tad hard to pull off when ki charges on its own.

Fun game, but all you ever really do is stand really far and blast ki. Then your opponent counters. So on and so forth. If the game had more incentive to fight, or was alot faster, it would've improved the gameplay dramatically.

I agree with Jubeh, since that's how I won most of my battles. It's probably the most "effective" style of battling in that game. xd
