I Love GaaxNaru pairing, it just seems to click together. Naruto was shunned and ignored as a child because he was housing the ninetails. Gaara was more feared so that no one would go near him, and had his own father try to assinate him! They were both innocent....
But yea, they would go perfect together, each knowing the pain of having no one, and the pain of having a monster inside of you...

I'm not real specific when it comes to Naruto Yaoi pairings (although SasuNaru will forever live in my heart as my first Yaoi/Shounen Ai Naruto pairing), and I have to say Gaara and Naruto do seem like they'd be good together. Hmmm......
Yosh! I shall stand behind and fully support GaaNaru! *raises fist in triumph*

Added Note after much consideration: GaaNaru is definately something I could see happening. Gaara can understand Naruto in a way the rest of his friends can't, no matter how hard they try. They don't have a fluffy, bloodthirsty demon living in their stomach, so we can't really expect them to understand everything that those two have been through. And Naruto's the one that already has saved Gaara. Not to sound cheesy, but he probably was the only one who could, not only because he understands Gaara better than anyone else in the redhead's life, but because he has the little gift of saving people without thinking about it. If not romance, then I could definately see their bond strengthen to a very, very firm friendship.

GaaNaru is a very... ineteresting couple. I kinda see it as more of a friendship, but I do think they would do great as a couple. In other words, I support GaaNaru.
