because some moron in an aol chatroom thought itd be awesome to ban my account, he tricked me into putting an item in my shop for the amoujnt of gold i wanted to be donated (he said hes been on gaia for a long time and had alot of gold and always donated) i did just that and received 200,000 gold from him anonymously. well, after that and selling some December letters i had enough for a kiki and coco. on wednesday, dec 27th i was banned from gaia for "botting gaia gold" in which i dont even know how to do so or what that is...
i spent more than 40$ on gaia this month to get alot of extras of the december letters to be able to sell them and save them for gaia gold to get kittys, and now im left with nothing.
im accepting donations fo any kind...gold, bugs, trash, flowers, clothes...anything. ill happily add you to my list of donators on my profile.
check out my profile for the link to my actual profdile to see my true avi, in which i hope to get back to soon.
i have reported this several times to gaia in hopes theyll give my account back, but no response.
thanks for listening and i hope u all have a great happy new year and NEVER accept HUGE amounts of gold as a donation...its a scam.

Gaia is under pressure though as lots of people are botting due to the about of gold you get from posting, PMing and so on... I'm sure its because they are on high maintenance, you'll get sorted soon. and I think the other reson is that your account is only 2 months yet has lots on... happy new year all the same!!! ^ ^

Geez SonicSweeti's story just furthers my attitude of not wanting/accepting donations. It also makes me think that I should take some time off from playing the marketplace. >.>
It just seems like there is more scamming going on than actual hacking.
Oh one thing I notice a lot when I play some of the Gaia games for fun is that if people talk in the room, they will sometimes try to ask a lot of very personal information. I've had people ask for both my real name and birthday many many times. Now some may be perfectly innocent and curious but a lot of email addresses are a combination of first initial and last name of the domain of some ISP. Birthdays are often extremely common security questions.
This is very prevelent in the jigsaw puzzle game (which I sometimes play for fun) in rooms where people talk.
