My first dumb question...
Some of you have a font color (like Anarya) or pretext/posttext words and pics (like dead.on.arrival). How do you get those? I have the Mozilla tektek Gaia toolbr, and on a posting page I see the options "tekformat1" and "tekformat2", but I can't figure out how to customize those formats. Anyone know how to do that, or another way to get a similar effect?
Muchas gracias, compadres ^_^

To be frightfully honest, I just type: color=indigo with the [ ] brackets around it before I begin my replies. I then end my reply with: /color with the [ ] brackets around it.
If there is an even better way, then by all means people, share!

What does "stfu" stand for? (if it's something inappropriate to post here, as I suspect it may be, pm me)

I figured it was something like that. That combination of letters just seems very hostile. I mean, can you imagine someone shouting "S.T.F.U."? I think that would make me cower in the corner. ninja

Tools arrow tektek Gaia Toolbar Options arrow then you change the tekformat1 and tekformat2. My tekformat1 is the usual color (mediumslateblue), bold, centered thing I usually use, and my tekformat2 is the fancy happy holidays shindig. It took SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (x infinity) long to get that right... Yeah, but I had to have a friend help me out with that one too. Don't worry.
Happy Kwanzaa HAPPY HOLIDAYS

garra_eyes I've got a siggy question. How do you get the changing pictures in your siggy (Like Anarya and Enji have)? That involves this wondrous website: randomimage.net. There you can upload as many images as you want, and it will generate a code for you.
Then you can visit: Tinyurl, which will take your code and put it in a tiny url that you can then place in your Gaia sig.
Hope that helps~! biggrin

floatey948 garra_eyes I've got a siggy question. How do you get the changing pictures in your siggy (Like Anarya and Enji have)? How do u even get a picture on your signiture??!! I'm so confus'ed! First you need to host your image online. One of my favorite places is image shack. It will give you some codes. Select the code for the forums. It's usually the first option, and should have an IMG (place these [ ] around the IMG) in front of the url address. Copy and paste this into your sig.
If the address is too large for Gaia's sig limit, then go to the Tinyurl site I posted in my previous post, and insert only the url address into it. The site will give you a smaller code that you can then place in your sig. In order for the url to show as an image, you need the IMG ( add these: [ ] to make it work) before the url and then a /img (make sure you have these [ ] around it!) at the end of the url.
