You know, I don't really believe in ghosts, just spirits, and they are different in some ways. But that's just my opinion. 3nodding

I do believe in Ghosts aka Lost souls... They stay in that form because they is still unfinished business, revenge...etc... Some people can see them... while others don't.. it all depends on the stars...etc.. was born..

They can't really do in that state... I also heard that they can Possess... not sure how that works..

Over the summer, my house was inhabited by Poltergeist. They bothered no one but me. They would disappear, in fact, when other people were in the house, which is why I got so paranoid when ever I was alone--no matter where I was. They could even get into my room, which had always been safe because Meatballs--my deceased cat--had always been there when she was alive and I guess her aura or spirit (I'm not sure) still remained enough to keep Spirits away, but these ones were too strong.

I called them the Scratchers. That's what they did, they scratched me.

It started in September. I woke up and took my shower. It was very odd--the water burned more then it usually did, but I blamed it on the water heater. But when I turned it down it had to be ice cold before it would stop hurting. I finally gave up, washed the remaining shampoo out of my hair, and got out.

The mirror in my bathroom wasn't fogged up because my shower was so short, so it was easy to spot the scratches on my back. That is why it had hurt so much--my back was covered in long red marks. I nearly cried when I saw them. I didn't know whether I had gotten them in the shower or while I was sleeping. I was so scared. I dressed quickly and ran to find my best friend who lives a few blocks away. I made her tell me if they were really there--and sure enough, she confirmed it. I was being scratched.

The following weeks leading up to Halloween were pure agony. I would go for weeks with only a few hours of sleep per night--they would wake me up, laugh at me, scratch me. They would scratch me all the time--in the bathroom when I'd brush my hair, while I was taking a shower, while I was trying to sleep, while I was walking down the stairs. They'd only stop when people were around or when I was out of the house. Like they were trying to scare me out.

On Halloween, I knew they would do something. That's the thing about me with spirits, I've only actually seen one once, but I've always felt when they are there. I've always known when they were there, and if they wanted to scare or hurt me. I have been followed around by footsteps only I can hear since I was in first grade, and I knew they wanted only to scare me. These wanted to hurt me. With scissors. I knew that they were going to try something with scissors. I wanted to get the scissors out of my room, but I couldn't, they would know I knew and use something else, a sharp pencil, a knife, something else--it was best I knew. I also knew they were going to do it on Halloween.

Here is a text I sent my best friend* (the one who I showed the scratches to) on Halloween night:

They are not going to win. Im showing them this text now, and they are laughing, but they are not going to win.

That's when it started getting bad. They started just by laughing at me, taunting me, like I said in the text, but then they started hitting me. Slapping me. Scratching me again, on my back and arms. I got so furious. I screamed at them, though not with my mouth and throat--they had made it impossible for me to do that--but with my mind. I told them they were going to STOP. I was tired of them, this was my room, my house, and they were not going to ******** scare me away. They started to realize that they weren't winning, which is when they grabbed the scissors.

I felt them taking the scissors and I instinctively brought my hand up--to cover my face--and I felt the scissors fly at me. They had been going for my throat. I grabbed them, closed them, and held them tightly. I snatched the lid of an old music box my father gave me, a treasure of mine full of happiness, held it up and screamed (again, in my head, I could not utter a sound, they made it so I could barely breathe) "This is my room! This is my happiness! I will not let you take it away from me!" They fought more, which made me even angrier, so I... gods how to describe it... I pushed them with my mind. I pushed them out of my house and away. I told them to never come back.

I stayed in my room, just sitting there. My throat untightened and I could breathe again. I stayed very still, probing the silence, tasting it. I sent this to my best friend:

They are gone. They are really gone this time. Omg they are finally gone. If I could only share my happiness-and relief-with you. I feel so light-it's great! =D**

It lasted over an hour. Gods, what an ordeal. But I am stronger by it. I know how to handle the bad ones. I also know what a bad one feels like, so when Harold came I knew he was different and that he wouldn't hurt me.

I will explain about Harold tomorrow since I need to finish homework and I've very tired. It's not late but this took a really long time to finish and I want to sleep more (I slept from 3:30 to 6:00 this afternoon and I want to sleep more). Thanks for reading.

*She never replied, she was fast asleep, but just doing it, reminding myself of those I cared about who cared about me as well, gave me strength.

I have encountered spirits before, but I haven't had an encounter with them in so long, around Middle School I had many horrible problems with them and they always hurt those around me. I have always been a natural deterrent because of my strong will, the only ones I ever dealt with my self were quite strong. The last one I dealt with was very strong and was after a friend of mine, that was when I had enough, I went to my friends house and dealt with that spirit. It was a malicious vile one, I got to my friends house and stopped it, I destroyed that spirit, after I was done assaulting the spirit, I could still feel it's existence but it was shattered, I felt it's presence fade from reality, since then not a single spirit has troubled a single one of my friends that I am aware of. My point is this, the only reason I am a natural deterrent is because I don't fear death and I Will Not stand to be messed with by something that has already lost it's right to live. Realize, if you do not let them, they Can Not hurt you, your belief that they can gives them strength to manifest the force necessary. I have felt spirits flee from my presence, this is because I despise them, and if I can, I will break them. Since I lost my fear, I have never met a spirit that can challenge me. Mind over matter, it works with your body and works even more in matters of the mind and spirit. I am either Delusional and every thing I encountered was all in my mind or all of what I encountered is real and I am that strong, I don't care which it is, I am what I am. You are still alive, you still have the right to live, do not let those who have lost that right usurp your reality.
