Gharadi stretched, yawned, made a funny noise while he yawned and shook his head. The beginning of his mane fell perfectly atop his head, a smile was on his maw. His belly was full, luckily he had found a pool of fish not too far away, they filled him up quite a bit. A full stomach made his happy. He padded along, humming to himself, trying to listen to see if anyone was around. His mother was probably still asleep right now. Perhaps he should work on his hunting skills? That might be good. Maybe. He traveled through the grass blades, they touched his side, his eyes then traveled up to the clouds. They made pictures in his mind. He thought back to everyone he had met in his lifetime thus far, yes things were going quite well right now.

Juke bounded along the rogue lands, his eyes unusually open, taking leaps rather than steps through the blades. His body had grown lean in the past two days, having little but a snack to eat. Barely a morsal, really. But the hunger was only slight, and not enough to force him to ignore the music and hunt. Perhaps later, a wounded creature might take his interest for lunch, but until then, he was quite content with the current state of his stomach.
With a flitting tail, he pounced from green to green, not keeping a straight like, and almost playing. He was a bit old for this sort of game, it was true, but a rogue male has nothing better to do on some days. And today's song was just so... bouncey. How could you not pounce about the savannah to such a beat? Everything was quite jolly, and Juke's world was going fine. Nothing could sway his mood, and almost nothing could brighten it more than it was. Except for a companion for a time, of course. And as if on que, the steely male made out the figure of a lion in the distance. It was younger than he, but a cat none the less. Though contact with creatures of other species always prooved an interesting experiance, the male couldn't help but favor the company of his own kind. With a smile, he bounded towards the other.

Gharadi kept along, eyes searching around. Soon his eyes fell on a moving creature, it did not go in a straight line, seemed to have no real set path. Jumping back and forth. Was it a gazelle? He crouched down somewhat. Then focused on it more, no, not a gazelle, far too big for a gazelle. Straightening himself up Gharadi padded towards hte figure, smile upon his maw. Perhaps this stranger would be a friend to him.
"Hello," he called out as he got closer. This stranger was a lion, like himself, only older. Had a full mane, Gharadi was jealous, but knew someday he would get one as well.

The male was quickley upon the younger of the two, taking leaps the entire way. He came to a skidding stop in front of the blooming lion and smiled. "Sorry 'bout that. I was pouncing." Juke stated the obvious quite obviousley, though he left out the important detail as to why. He found it unwise to discuss the music until he knew the creature he was with, for sometimes they scoffed and laughed, not understanding at all. He wasn't crazy, as a few had said, oh no. He just payed more attention than they did, tried to listen more than them. That was all.

Gharadi smiled and sat back on his haunches, "No worries friend, I'm just anxious about practicing my hunting, my mother and I just went the other day, I want to make her proud," he said with a nod, puffing his chest out. "Was it fun, the pouncing?" Gharadi asked, smiling, flicking his tail. Gharadi always did like pouncing, was fun, gave him a bit of practice, made him forget about things he was supposed to do, let him have a bit of fun.

The lion took a moment to reflect on his own mother and his first hunt with her. It had been an exciting experiance, really, and he fully understood the want to impress. He gave a knowing nod and smiled. "Well, it wasn't really /pouncing/, It was sort of a bouncey dance." Juke nodded vigourousley, as if that explained the world. Not every creature on the savannah knew how to dance, of course, but the thought never occurred to the steely male until he had already said it.

"A bouncy...dance?" Gharadi asked, interested and yet confused. "I'm Gharadi by the way..." Wait, had he already said that? Ugh, his head hurt. Dancing and not pouncing? Strange, from what he understood he was to chase and then pounce. Perhaps he was doing it wrong before, thats why he couldn't catch things maybe? Hmmm, he thought about it, movements were quite fluid, but dancing? What exactly was dancing?
"This may sound stupid but....what's dancing?"

"Nice to meet you, Gharadi." The older male gave a kindley and polite nod of his head. "My name is Juke." His tail flicked about behind him, and soon his head was bobbing back and forth with its motions. "Well, this is dancing." The grey-blue creature let his whole body take on the beat that nature had provided for the day. He got a little carried away with himself and started jumping about, as it was such a bouncey rhythm, and even began to hum. Suddenly, however, he remembered where he was and who he was with, and quickley stopped. Regaining a posture with amazing speed, he smiled wide at Gharadi and breathed for a moment before saying anything. "That," he said, "is dancing."

Gharadi watched as Juke introduced himself, then began to...dance. It was rather...strange. But to each is their own right? Gharadi just politely smiled and watched, tail flicking behind him. It was rather fluid motions, looked easy enough, but was there a purpose to it? Could it be sueful during other things like hunting?
"Why do you dance Juke? Is there like...a use of it?" then he thought of another thing," Do...girls, like it?"

"Purpouse?" Juke gave Gharadi a look, one that suggest the other to be insane. Does dancing /need/ a purpouse? "Why, it makes me happy! I suppose it doesn't help me do much in my life... But then again, how could I go on in this world if I were a sad creature?" He enthusaistically smiled, tail still thumping to some unheard beat. "I don't really know if it helps me with girls... I've never tried dancing with one." Perhaps some lionesses would find his practice immature and odd, but those weren't the ones he wanted, anyway. If he were to ever find a mate in these endless savannahs, she would have to be understanding of his passtime, and willing to learn to listen. Listen to the earth and the wind, listen to the music.

"I see," quite strange. But Gharadi supposed if it made someone happy to do a certain thing, even if it was dancing, that it was a good thing. To be happy was a good thing, so to have something you can turn to whenever you are down was a grand thing indeed. "Are you headed somewhere Juke? Or are you going to stay out here?" Gharadi asked with a smile, he was just curious if Juke was heading somewhere Gharadi might have heard of.

Where had he been headed? What a good question. Normally, he wasn't really headed anywhere but where he was pointed, as he had no real home and had no agenda. Usually, he would just flit about the savannahs as he pleased, stopping here one night and there the other for rest. "I really wasn't headed anywhere, actually." After a pause, he added, "were you?" If Ghardi was going to go do anything, perhaps he could join him. unless, of course, the younger lion didn't want any company. That would be rather sad, though, as then Juke would be alone and possibley bored.

"Seems we are both just wanderers of the Rogue lands then," Gharadi said with a smile. He made a slight play pounce sideways then back, as if trying to mimic how Juke had danced before. "Perhaps you could teach me how to dance Juke...it could be useful someday maybe, and it seems like you have fun doing it..." Gharadi said with a nod.
Yes, perhaps a dance lesson would be good.

At this idea, the steely blue lion perked up quite a bit, if it were possible considering he had already been in an excellent mood. Juke had never taught anyone to dance before, he had only helped a few listen to the rhythms of nature. That would have to be the first step, he assumed, as one needed to hear the beat in order to get their groove on. Settling on the lesson plan, he sat back and closed his eyes. "The first thing you need to do is find the music. Relax a little, close your eyes, feel the beat around you. Listen to the wind, the bugs, the birds. Find the song." He, too, listened carefully to the music. It was a bouncey tune, one that would be easy to dance to when the younger lion finally found it. "Let me know when you've got it."

Gharadi did so and closed his eyes. He tried to listen, first he heard the wind, then the rattle of the blades of grass against something. The steady beat of his heart was next, the c***k sound of something falling to ...water was it? Then the ripples flowing. He had never tried this before, but it was fun. "I...I think I've got it..." he was trying to stay focused on it, not lose the beat, "Now what do I do?"
