I have started a similar thread in a few of the guilds I'm in and I thought to make one here as well; especially now thta I have our leader's aproval. I hope that, after a while, it can stay as an official thread (maybe even a sticky) but for now, I'll be happy to hear (or rather, read) about why you chose your username.
I'll start!
I chose mine cuz it was the one I was using on another site. Maybe you know it, maybe not, but the name of it was "bolt" (www.bolt2.com). I chose it there cuz of an accesory I found on FF7. This accessory's usefulness was not high but it served a purpose. Which one, you ask? Well, the point was that you needed to control the monsters in the game to be able to learn their abilities as long as you had equipped the "enemy skill" materia. Someone else in yer party also had to have the "Manipulate" materia to control their actions, of course. Anyways, the problem was that you couldn't always get a hold of the mosters succesfully so, if you had the "HypnoCrown", yer manipulation rate was increased and it was easier to control them. You never saw an actual rate like in FFTA (as in 60% for example) but you could almost tell.
So, by the time I got to Bolt, I decided that my username should be something original and FF related and since nobody else was using it, Voila!
So what about you? Why did you choose yer username? Is it FFTA related?

Ah, thanx for posting. It is a good name even though I usually don't like usernames with numbers in them. I would have hated to end up with a 789 at the end of mine if it had been taken or something. sweatdrop

My names used to always have "Sita" in them. "Sita" came from a nickname I used to have when I was friends with this one girl. We had our own little petnames for each other. In any case, she decided one day that she didn't want to be my friend any more and walked off with all of her GBC games and many of mine. I never really wanted to believe that she didn't like me anymore so I kinda waited. I had hoped that she might randomly go online and see "Sita" and think of me or something. Now a days, I understand that she doesn't want to be my friend ever again. She's become really...nasty actually. Still though, I always loved the name "Sita" so many of my usernames contain "Sita". My first AIM name was SitaSkirt, when I joined gaia I named my avatar Sita0001 and my livejournal is Sita0002. I figured that if I did Sita and 0000 something, I'd remember it easily. It worked but I kept confusing myself. So when I got into the SSBM and Fire Emblem craze I started changing or making my usernames "Marth-chan". Marth obviously comes from SSBM and Fire Emblem. I love Marth. ^_^ And "-chan" is from one of my newer and closer friends. I call her Sheik-chan and she calls me Marth-chan. We're always on the same team together and I'm sure you can guess what we play as. We're deadly. twisted My deviantart name is moon-star15. I was fifteen when my friend made it for me and I was on a Sailor Moon rush. I'd even invented me own Sailor Scout - Sailor Moonstar. It was pretty stupid, but I liked the character herself.

I use Sheikeh as a variant of Sheikah, the most badass tribe in all of Hyrule. I use Tonks for FFTA, because she's one of the coolest HP characters.

I love the Sheikah! Impa is crazy and Sheik is awesome! ^_^
One of the women in the village you start out is has a face like Impa, but the Shaman in Kakariko village is probably Impa's reincarnation.

Um... I got this name a long time ago when I was a kid. I don't remember what it was for but I use it for everything. Helps me remember almost every account on anything I have is always either 'Dume' or 'Eternal_Dume'....
Top five character in SSMB (in order): Link, Samus, Fox, Roy, Pikachu!
Shiek was a girl... unless you thought Zelda was a guy! xP
Twilight Princess rocks! Even if Telma's cleavage envelops all of Hyrule...

My name, unfortunately, doesn't come from FFTA. it's a combination of my Birthstone (Emerald), and my name (Emily), and Charm, well, also a combination. I can be charming (I know, I'm full of myself lol), and I like Emerald Jewelry. There ya have it.
