Just post what albums and songs u like that u think the production could have been better on. Subterranean Jungle and EOTC had (in my opinion) very good songs but they just had shitty production.

Personally i dont see much wrong with End of the Century (aka i liked it) but i have to agree with you on subterranean jungle....another one i think they could have done better on was Pleasant Dreams....with the exception of KKK and Airwaves i think the songs just werent that great.

a lot of local bands around me could have used better production. but that has a lot to do with money, of course. sweatdrop

Guru_Pinecone Personally i dont see much wrong with End of the Century (aka i liked it) but i have to agree with you on subterranean jungle....another one i think they could have done better on was Pleasant Dreams....with the exception of KKK and Airwaves i think the songs just werent that great. its weird. some of the most hated albums out there some of my favs. i just love "pleasant dreams" and Animal Boy(guitars sort of sucked though). And besides acid eaters and brain drain i think their chrysalis albums were some of their best.

And besides acid eaters and brain drain i think their chrysalis albums were some of their best. yeah ive never been a huge fan of pleasant dreams (although i admit it is still pretty good) but yeah i really like alot of thier hated cds....like End of the Century, and i LOVE brain drain. I dont have any cds past too tough to die except for brain drain so i dont know what to tell ya on those....hmmm i should go buy a few more.

oohhh that reminds me, i am supossed to be getting Mondo Bizzaro soon! a very rare album it is. out them all, even though i like EOTC, i think that the built in advertisement at the end sorta killed itself....
brain drain is one of my favorite albums for sure. subteranean jungle was really good too, especially Every Time I Eat Vegtables It Makes Me Think Of You. lol

Blubba_Pinecone oohhh that reminds me, i am supossed to be getting Mondo Bizzaro soon! a very rare album it is. out them all, even though i like EOTC, i think that the built in advertisement at the end sorta killed itself.... brain drain is one of my favorite albums for sure. subteranean jungle was really good too, especially Every Time I Eat Vegtables It Makes Me Think Of You. lol Yeah i think they kinda got everybodys hopes up because of the phil spector thing....he had such a good reputation in the 60's and then when people found out that he was doing a ramones album. Then when the album came out it just wasnt as good as people hoped....personally i think they tried wayyy to hard to get a hit on that one. ...yeah the little advertising bit was unnecesary.

Subterranean jungle is a really good album with great songs, but the producer had to ******** up the drum sound, it almost sounds like a machine.
P.S Check out Marky Ramones myspace, he's written down his thoughts on every album that he played drums on.

i think that Road to Ruin was kinda crappy.
the ramones did a few songs that sounded country, just to get it played on the radio
thats just sad
