I just scanned the TV channels looking to see what all happened overnight when I found the channel that covers the Rose Parade in California.

It seems that since George Lucas is the grand marshal of the parade, and it is the 30th anniversary of the first movie, the theme for the event will involve Star Wars. There will be a marching division of storm troopers (which they showed a practice clip for in the pre-show).
