Well some of you may have heard this already... I have graduated from Grad School!
So now, as per my NYsR, I am looking for a job. Unfortunately ALA is being succinct but USAJOBs is helping and Monster doesn't even recognize the field of archives...
so YAY =____=

I'm sure you've heard this word already too many times, but the key is networking. Stealth networking via interviews is a great way to bust down walls.
Job interviews generally suck due to the pressure on both parties. I avoid this path like the plague.
Do as many informational interviews as you can get away with first, based on places you really want to work.
And as one of my best professors once told me: Keep knocking on those doors. You never know when one will open. I took this advice to heart and knocked on several doors. Two of which were directly into the arms of my best clients.
And congratulations. There is a job out there for you. I'm sure you'll find it.
