Finn shivered, his paws trudging its way through snow. He looked around at all the white, with him being mostly black he stood out quite well against the brightness. But being so bright, this snow wasn't warm at all. It was cold.
He was a long way from his owner's home and even farther away from his homeland, the Nightshade Valley where he tended to usually roam in hopes of finding others like him. But all he had was Pumpkin. The orange and green vined Chinua was the closest he had to finding other Hespierdons that came from the Nightshade Valley, and Finn adored the small ruffigan greatly.
Actually, where is Pumpkin again? Pumpkin had seemingly vanished when Finn had galloped about, trying to stay warm. How could you lose sight of a bright orange and green vined Hespierdan though? Especially with all this snow all around. Finn shivered again, looking over the snow to see how high he really was. Where am I?Meanwhile Pumpkin was bouncing around energetically. All of this white, fluffiness attracted him. It all soft and when he bounced into it, all of the whiteness blew up all around him, falling back down into place but also unto him. He grinned happily, and rolled down into the snow. He rolled back and forth, giggling to himself all the while.
He rolled again, but this time it was over a hill. Pumpkin yelped in surprise but it was too late, over and over he rolled through the snow. He couldn't stop. It frightened him as he continued to roll down the snow bank, he tried to stop but couldn't. He was quite a sight, rolling all about, unable to stop until CRASH and he fell into a huge pile of snow. He dug his way out, shaking his ornage coat wildly. Pumpkin giggled again.

Arael hadn't really been paying much attention where she had wondered off too. She normally didn't stray too far from Nash, her friend she was quite fond of. It had started snowing a few days ago, and hadn't stopped. Nash didn't want her to wonder on her own in it. He said she could get lost. Though, she had found some interesting creature that she'd followed, and now, she was indeed lost.
Though, she didn't picture it as a bad thing. Indeed, this gave a great chance at an adventure. She started to hum and flicked her tail dangeriously around in the air.
Every know and then she'd jump in a small pile of cold white stuff that seemed to be spread about the ground. Nash had said it was snow. Well, whatever snow was, it was great, yet cold. Her silvery colored coat matched pretty well with the white of the snow, but she stood out more then she thought she did.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw something orange. Or she thought it was orange. She quickly looked and saw nothing. "Well... That was strange." She said to her self. She tilted her head and ventured over to where she'd thaught she saw the orange thing.
Sure enough, she did see something orange. It was another creature like Nila! "Oh! Hello there" She said as she looked at it. She wouldn't have found it if snow hadn't went flying in the air from the creature shaking it off.

Pumpkin jumped in surprise, he turned around with a slight fear that something big was behind him. It was something bigger than him but now by much! He grinned brightly, full teeth glinting. "Hello!!" Pumpkin cried out, bouncing and trying to catch the snow that was falling in his mouth.
He grinned back at whatever that thing was, it did remind him of Denise in a way, albeit much smaller and much nicer. "What are you?" He tilted his head, still grinning but more so in a mischievious way now. "I wonder what it would do if I kicked this white stuff in its face?" Pumpkin said before realizing that his thoughts weren't coming out of the voice in his head, they came from him.
He looked at the silvery, purplish thing, hoping that they wouldn't get too riled up at his comment. It wasn't his fault, they just popped out of his mouth! It was all a big accident. Perhaps he should of apologized but that thought didn't cross his mind at all. "Um...hi?" He pushed the snow about, attempting to look innocent.

She laughed for a second. Well, at least this little guy was being honest? She tilted her head back at him. "I'm a Minya." She was pretty sure that's what she was. Or if she was wrong, it totally wasn't her fault. "The question is, what are you, and I would most likely kick it back at you" She gave another giggle.
Flicking her tail dangeriously again she looked him over. Well, he didn't look anything like Nila. Other then what creature he was. He looked like a lemon. Or that's what she thaught it was called.
"What are you doing out here all by yourself? Don't you have a friend?" She asked. Sure that she's only seen them with Minya's like Nash. Maybe this one was all alone? She sat down in the cold snow, very curious about this creature.

"A Minya." Pumpkin repeated slowly, eyes flashing with awe. "You're nice for a Minya, or maybe it's only the bigger ones that are scary." He muttered to himself, his small tail swishing back and forth. He shook his head in confusion at the thought that there could be nice Minya's.
"Oh right. I'm called a Chinua, I think. Or at least that's what Finn told me, but then I wasn't really paying much attention to him. There was a butterfly in the Nightshade Valley and that was much more fun to play with. It's smaller than me." Pumpkin nodded frantically, his eyes becoming alit with energy.
"Butterflies are amazing, they can fly you know. I tried to eat it and it flew onto my nose and I sneezed and scared it away. Finn wouldn't stop laughing at me, but maybe that was because I fell in some water. I don't like water." He pawed at the snow, forcing his expression into one he thought was considered 'a thinking hard' expression. He failed miserably, he only looked as if he had just tasted something horrid.
"Oh wait, what were we talking about?" Pumpkin turned his head, wondering outloud. "Right, my friend. He's Finn and really big, he can squish us you know. He can be scary, well he scared away my dinner, but he's happy like me! I like him, he's my bestest friend." He smiled at the thought of his friend. "But I lost him, he went so fast through this white stuff. It was great but he didn't come back for me. He doesn't like the cold, but I do! I don't even feel it!"
Pumpkin looked sad for a second, before his smile came back again with full force. "But what about you? Do you come up to this place often? I think it's a great place, I met a Minya that is super nice!"

Arael smiled. "Oh? There's mean ones?" She hadn't ran into any mean ones. Or she's never thought were mean. She smiled at the cute little Chinua. She was curious on what they were called.
"Finn? Oh! Is he a Minya too?" She tilted her head. She flicked her tail as she listened further on his story. She liked butterflies aswell. They were fun to chase, though, she never thought about eating them. It didn't sound very good.
She shook her head. "No... Not really. I mean, I was following something... and ended up here." She didn't even really think about it until know. "Nash is going to be so mad at me." She said to herself now thinking about it.

"Well......maybe not entirely mean but I still don't like the one I know!" Pumpkin mumbled, sitting in the snow. "Finn isn't a minya, he's much bigger than that. But he might be a male one! Unless you're a male minya...." He trailed off.
He stared off, looking at the bright sky. His eyes blinked once, twice before widening. "Wait! Finn is a kiri-something. I can't really remember what he told me. I wish he was here...." Pumpkin sighed, he missed his friend. He shook his orange head, turning to gawk at the minya.
"So are you a male minya? Cause if you are then you're much smaller than a female one but maybe you're just really small, like me." Pumpkin wondered, his eyes fixated on the spotted minya.

She never really understood about female male things. "Oh... I think Nash once said I was a female." She said, nodding and flicking her tail on the ground wildly. "Not sure what that all means, but one day I will!"
She started to become very curious of this Finn. "Oh! perhaps we can find this Finn of yours!" She said standing up and looking around. Not really sure what to look for. She only knew of three types of creatures, and two of them were small, and the other was her own type.

"Well I'm male, like Finn!" He said brightly, "But females are good too." He continued hurriedly. He rocked back and forth, grinning sheepishly.
"You'd help me find Finn?" Pumpkin stood up abruptly, his eyes flashing with happiness. He smiled at her, turning and trying to run up the hill he fell off of. He slipped and fell back into the snow. He shook his coat. "Maybe go around it." He started to go around the small hill, his cloved hooves trudging through the snow.
"You coming, ---? What's your name?" He turned, looking back at her.

Arael nodded as she started to walk with him. Her paws sunk in the snow about a inch or two making from her ankle down understnow. "Arael." she said.
Her tail stayed calmly dlightly down, much how a lion's tail would set when they were walking. Her ears where slighly tilted back from the wind. "I'm sure we'll find Finn soon. I bet he's trying to look for you." She said with a nod.
She figured Nash was still sleeping, and wouldn't realize she was gone for a while. She didn't really think about that too much, she just knew that he'd tell her to never wonder off. But what good does that do? She's a curious little one.

Pumpkin grinned, "I'm Pumpkin." He giggled, watching as Arael sunk a bit into the snow. His cloved feet sunk as well, but he didn't notice it, more interested in this minya. His feet dug through the snow, his eyes glinting at seeing the snow being pushed up with every step he took.
His orangry-brown eyes slipped towards Arael, a mischievious grin forming on his mouth. He moved the snow around with his front hooves, pushing the snow into a small pile. Pumpkin turned back to Arael, his smile overly bright. "I'm sure he is looking for me, and he'll find me soon I think. He's fast and can quickly jump over great distances."
Pumpkin tilted his head, his mouth curving faintly into a soft expression at the thought of Finn finally coming. "But till he finds me...." Pumpkin pushed the snow over his hooves, continually staring at Arael. "How about we play a game?"

Arael smiled as she looked the creature that called himself Pumpkin. "Nice to meet you Pumpkin." She continued to smile. She looked up at a tall tree a few feet away. Everything seemed so big to her, she bet everything seemed bigger to Pumpkin.
"I'm sure he'll find you. You sound like the best of friends!" She didn't have a best friend. Well, not yet. She looked up to Nash, but couldn't really call him her best friend. She needed someone more like herself for that. She gave a giggling. "Oh! I wish I could do that!"
"A game? What type of game?" She said quickly. Games where the best, though, it depeneded on the game really. Her tail started flicking in the air again. Something she couldn't control. Perhaps when she became an adult she could fix that problem?

"It would be nice to leap over hills, jump over small streams, running through the wind past trees and other plants." His eyes turned optimistic at the thought of becoming big, perhaps one day he would be big but there was always that numbing thought of 'that could never happen'.
Pumpkin's eyes lit up, she seemed somewhat intrigued by the game or at least that's what he thought her expression looked like. He wasn't very good at reading his own or other's expressions, it was confusing, the looks one gave. "Oh the game me and Finn are playing. Well I'm the game, Finn doesn't know he's playing also. It's my most favourite game ever, I'm the best at it."
Pumpkin bounced back on his two back paws, his two cloved hooves moving the snow. They seemed ready to push the snow up, the entire pile of it. "Wanna play? It's called Hide and Go Seek." Though without waiting for an answer, he turned around and kicked the entire pile of snow into the air, running off.

Wow, that was an interesting game. She had no clue what the object of the game was. Though, she figured she was suppose to case him. She started running around. Where could he be?
"Pumpkin" She paused "Where'd you go?" she hoped around in the snow. Looking behind trees and bushes. "What's the point of the game?" Still with no clue other then trying to chase him. Maybe it was she had to find him?

Pumpkin looked around for a place to hide, he froze when he heard his name being called and looked harder for something that would hide him till she gave up. He then noticed it, the perfect hiding place. There was a small space between the snow covered ground and a tree.
The tree's roots seemed mostly out of the ground, and between some of those roots was the small space where he could hide in. He grinned, feeling as if Arael would never find him. "And now I wait." He murmured, his body trembling with excitement at playing his most favourite game.
Finn tensed, not from the cold but from hearing one word: 'Pumpkin'. He turned around, his paws trying to regain his footing as he stumbled a bit at getting too excited at the thought of finally being around another again. He hated being alone. But where did the voice come from? And who said it? As he tried to think this through, he heard the voice speak again: 'Where'd you go'. There! It came from down there, where there was some trees, bushes, and few boulders.
He grinned happily at the thought of finding Pumpkin but also at finding whoever was speaking. His paws bounded through the snow, his paws springing his entire body into the air, quickly and silently before landing onto his paws again. He skidded from time to time before regaining his balance. His dark eyes darted from left to right, as he tried to locate the one who had spoke.
There! It was a minya, one who was silvery grey with light purple spots. He charged down the hill, his paws pounding harder through the snow, kicking it up with every step he took. His body heaved, as it tried to stay balanced while his paws continued to bound down as quickly as he could. Finn wasn't silent anymore, he made as much noise as possible, looking very much like a monster. His eyes glinted, locked on the minya right before him.
He leapt into the air, coming to a stop, right in front of the minya. His huge body loomed overhead, eyes glowing dark with emotion. He starred down at the minya, his mane and tail swishing behind him. "Hello-" He tried to say, but his voice was rough from his continuous galloping that it came out like some sort of growl.
