Hey, and welcome to Squamy's Okami review! i hope this influences you playing, or not playing it!
Okami is a great game, it comes from japan but suprisingly enough, this may shock you so get ready.... its not.... anime! -gasp!-
"is it still good?"
hell yes!! its great! with 40 plus hours of gameplay, okami, the "ps2 Zelda" has amazing style and gameplay. it breaks down like this.
You are Okami Ameterousu, god of the sun, but here's the kicker, you're a wolf throughout the whole game! you get around learning the 13 celestial brush techniques, by holding down r1 everything becomes you're canvas. By making a slash mark you can cut an enamy in half. Or make a circle with a line through it to make a bomb, and eccetera!
100 years ago the great Warrior Nagi and the white wold Shiranou, defeated the dreaded Orochi on the night it demanded a sacrifice. The orochi was sealed in a shrine protected by Nagi's blade, Shiranou died in the battle, and a statue was made to forever honor his courage. now, somebody has snuck into the shrine and stolen Nagi's blade realeasing the Orochi. So now heres where you come in, after it is revealed that you are shiranou you return to re-do you're handy work and put an end to the orchi once and for all.
With a diverse cast of charecters, enamies, and envirenments, Okami makes for a great game that will keep you bust for a long time!
The upsides!
well the wisecracks by you're trusty pea-sized side kick will always keep you chuckling.
The gameplay is comedic, dramatic, action packed and a tid-bit sexy! You'd know what i meant if you played it your'self.
with all the hours of gameplay its hard to get bored!
The boss battles are creative, a good thing in a video game!
The downsides.
the cutscenes get to be annoying! They can feel like they take wahay to long at times. But the gameplay makes up for it.
Okami is easy. and since falling off cliffs does not count as dieng in the end, i actualy managed to beat it without dieng once!

Do you know if it will be a greatest hit? It seems likely, but I just want to be sure. ( I saw the game preveiw and I want it! The design in awsome looking!)

Hell yeah, it got best game of 2006 by 3 different gaming magazines. Look for it on geatest hits soon. I beat it and sold it back and then I'll more than likely buy it again on greatest hits.

wow! look at that! i was a horrible speller on my last acount!.. i just wish that D-bag who hacked me didnt change my name! Gyersh! that jerk!!!! just wanna pop his head like a zit!!! too bad its impossible over the internet... oh well, live on. Just a website.
Divoud of being hacked and all my opinions are STILL the same on that game. Lots of people under estimate it. Say it was boring. Well to all the nay-sayer i say STFU naive! Okami rocked out the lizoud.

i agree okami AWESOME game but wanted to add a nasty downside... the talking annoys me cause they all have this aggravating mumbly voice thing
