Decent first release for the PSP,is basically a portable port of Budokai 3 in graphics and gameplay although tossed up a bit with instead of having a "punch" and "kick" button layout,it has light and heavy attack buttons making for interesting combo's between the two. Contains less characters then budokai three but does have all the major characters as expected and has a similiar transformation choice as tenkaichi except when you choose what transformation you want you start out as the lowest transformation, then you transform directly to the chosen form. Such as choosing Goku SS3 then with enough energy you press the correct button combination and you'd go from normal to SS3. Also contained some Tenkaichi/2 features like charged special attacks, and the instant transmission like follow and attacking/dodging from B3 is also kept in this release which keeps the gameplay fast and you on your toes although the AI is not half as cheap with it as it was in B3.

The story mode follows the Fusion Reborn movie, and despite the lack of voice overs and static character profiles with the text i found the story to be very enjoyable, and even though it does follow Fusion Reborn's story it had a completely unique script that touched on alot of "what if" type scenarios that could/should have happened during that movie such as a more personal confrontation between chosen characters and the villians who were brought to life in the movie and many other plot twists that were written quite well.
