I would very much like to mention Vampire Hunter D. I love that one quite a bit.
And boy would I love to have a mechanical horse thing. Those were so bloody cute...

Well, most of the ones have been mentioned. There is a manga called MODEL, it's pretty good, kinda gothy I guess. Pet Shop of Horrors, and one I think called Death.. can't remember. The Tarot Cafe.. But there are alot of manga titles if you just look that hold a bit of a goth aura [just to say] to them. stare I'm still a Hellsing whore though..

Yami no Matsuei-Desendents of Darkness. it's yaoi but gothic consisting of how it deals with shinigami,gore,suicide,hot psycho,ghosts,spirits,and hell.

Nycto which charactor? its a gothic anime, but none of the charactors are really gothic. well i think Alacard.consisting he's a vampire and always gets shot in the head and that mostly in every chapter someone is either killed or got their blood drained by a vampire.
