"Pizza."

"But we always get pizza. I want something different."

"I do not mind the pizza. I only yearn for the restaraunt to provide mustard as a topping."

"Dudes! Let's get sushi!"

There was a unanimous "NO!" accompanied by a "What is this sushi?" from Starfire.

Raven was irritated, her stomach growling nonstop now. "Let's just pick something. I'm starving." She threw the team a menacing glare. "And when I'm starving, I tend to break people's heads in."

Robin waved his hands for the team to shut up. "Look, everyone pitch an idea for dinner and then we'll vote on it."

"Pizza," Cyborg said automatically.

"I thought we ruled out pizza!" Terra insisted. "We have that every night; I say we go for fried chicken!"

"I am not eating chicken!" Beast Boy practically yelled.

"Oh come on, chicken isn't real meat..."

Robin and Raven stood at the window, waiting for the team to sort out dinner. The one night they decide to eat out and no one wanted French cuisine.

"Well, I still say pizza!"

"And I say fried chicken!"

"Could we perhaps have fried pizza in compromise?" Starfire asked.

The others stared at her in utter repulsion.

"Don't they have that in Japan?" Terra asked.

"If you mean okonomiyaki, that's not the same pizza--"

"And I thought fried ice cream was gross--"

"TITANS, BREAK IT UP!" Robin screamed. The noise ceased immediately. Robin pointed to Cyborg. "You want pizza."

Pointed to Terra: "You want fried chicken."

Pointed to Beast Boy: "You don't want meat."

Pointed to Star: "You just want to put mustard on whatever we eat."

He turned to Raven. "And Raven and I couldn't care less what we eat, just as long as we do so before we die!"

Beast Boy snapped his fingers in a sudden inspiration. "I know!"

"What?"

"Chinese!"

Terra grinned. "Yum, Chinese takeout!"

Cyborg agreed, "Sounds good."

Starfire asked, "Is there mustard?" to which Terra replied, "Oh come on, it tastes just fine without mustard."

Robin was at the phone book. "Are there any good Chinese takeout paces 'round here?"

"If we get it to go, do they give us fortune cookies?" Cyborg queried.


The neon letters spelled "Huang Yi's Chinese". Only the U was burned out. Below it was a New Year's Party announcement from five months past.

The Titans ordered their food and were out within minutes. Terra leaped on the bag and dug through it until she unearthed six fortune cookies at the bottom of the bag.

"Score!" she yelled, tossing a plastic-wrapped cookie to each Titan. "But we can't eat 'em till we're done."

"Why not?" Star asked, turning the package over in her hands.

"Because if you eat the cookie first," Terra explained in a serious, ethereal tone, "the fortune inside loses its power and won't come true."

Beast Boy snickered next to her, and she whipped around, causing Starfire to choke on her thick blonde hair.

"WHAT is so funny?" Terra demanded.

He laughed even harder. "There's a legend of fortune cookies where you put 'in bed' at the end of your fortune, and the last time I did it--" he stopped to give another hysterical laugh--"it said 'You will have a comfortable old age'. It scared me to death."

Terra slid up against Starfire in an effort to get away from the perverted changeling.

Well, no friggin duh it's not done yet! I told you that was all for now.

Oy, it's the infamous "in bed" game. I've played that game... onl it was called the "in my pants' game. Hee hee, my friends were getting so grossed out!

AHH! I love this guild! When I came here, I got a giftbox!

The ride home was uneventful after that.

As they walked to the door, thunder boomed overhead and it began to drizzle. Terra leaned over the bag to keep its contents from getting soaked.

"Push the code, push the code!" she cried, the downpour growing stronger every minute. "Ugh, what the hell kinda weather is this for May?"

The door opened and Terra raced inside, cradling the bags of steaming noodle boxes. She dropped them onto the counter and reached inside, distributing chicken, noodles, and chopsticks to each Titan. She left the cookies in the bag.

Terra, Raven, and Robin had all used chopsticks before, but the others were having a good deal of trouble, especially Starfire.

"No, Star, only this one moves," Robin explained, moving his own pair. "And hold that one like...no, not like that..."

Terra slurped her noodles, getting angry stares from Raven.

Beast Boy, having so much difficulty, finally stabbed a stick into the chicken and skewered it. He ripped pieces off of it, chewing moodily.

After they had finished, Cyborg volunteered to get the cookies. He set them in the middle of the table, arranging them into a small pattern.

"Now, when we open these, share your fortunes one at a time--"

"But add 'in bed' to the end of it!" Beast Boy cried.

Terra stared at the changeling wide-eyed. "Beast Boy, that's disgusting."

"But it's fun!"

Raven glared, taking a cookie. "No, it's immature and pointless."

Robin unwrapped and cracked his cookie. "Mine says, 'Wealth can be yours if you have faith'."

"'Open up'," Raven murmured. "That's it?" Behind her, Beast Boy snickered.

"'You are strong under all that fluff'. What does that mean?" Starfire asked.

"'Tragedies in your life will fade soon'," Cyborg read.

"Oh come on," Terra whined. "This is stupid: 'Cherish every moment soon to come'." Beast Boy burst into hysterical laughter.

"WOULD YOU STOP BEING SUCH A SICK-MINDED PERVERT!?" Raven yelled. "Just share your fortune!"

"'You'll get lucky tonight'."

"OH DEAR GOD!" Terra yelled, abandoning her disdain for perverted jokes. She immediately excused herself to throw away the garbage.

"I don't believe in this stupid fortune nonsense," Raven commented. She crumpled her slip and used her power to set it on fire.

But SHOULD she? All for now; I hope those fortunes got some laughs. Took me forever to come up with them.

SCORE!

After consuming a big bowl of ice cream and watching that night's episode of Fullmetal Alchemist, Terra yawned and decided to finally go to bed. She gave a pronounced yawn and set her licked-clean bowl in the sink, then trudged up the stairs to her room.

As she passed Raven's room, she could hear soft moaning, but it was so low she could hardly tell it was there. Then as she reached Raven's door, someone inside screamed bloody murder. Terra, for lack of knowing Raven's access code, punched fist-sized holes in the door with the same rock and crawled through the opening she'd made.

She could feel her Chinese food in her throat.

Raven was on her floor, her legs spread as she leaned back. Her eyes had rolled to the back of her head and she was drooling, almost foaming at the mouth. Shafts of light were cutting through her flesh, and all her clothes began to strip away. There was blood rolling at her ankles and wrists, and her hands were clasped behind her.

Terra held a trembling hand to her mouth. "Hang on, Raven!" she yelled, leaping forward. She then stopped, wondering what the hell she was supposed to do except stop the bleeding. But there were no cuts...

"Open up Raven..."

Terra looked right and left, searching for the owner of the voice. "Who are you?!" she finally yelled in frustration. "Show yourself!"

"Oh I dare not, wench. I'm only here for the girl, not you." It gave a dry cackle.

Wench!? Terra thought indignantly. She went back to helping Raven, but as she placed her hands on the demon's back to sit her up, a shock ran through her body that nearly stopped her ********!" she screamed as her shorts caught on fire. She rolled on the carpet, but it did nothing to put out the flames.

"Just give up. The more you touch her, the more like her you become."

"Damn you!" she screamed. "Get down here so I can beat your a**!" Frantically she ran through everything she could do to help Raven and herself. Oddly enough, the blaze on her shorts was staying in one place, almost like a candle flame.

I don't know anything about Raven! All I know is about her temper-tantrums, and that was good for hurting her, but not helping...!

Terra raced out of the room and down the hall.


It took several rounds of loud, obnoxious, and knuckle-scraping raps, but Beast Boy finally opened his door, wiping his eye groggily.

"Terra, what's--"

"Shut up and come with me!" she yelled, grabbing his arm and dragging him to Raven's room.

He took one look at the squirming, bleeding Raven and snapped awake.

"We gotta get her out of here!" Terra cried. "But we can't touch her!"

Beast Boy ran to her desk and picked up the intriguing mirror he and Cyborg had fallen into two years before. "Hang on!" He aimed the mirror at his friend, but nothing happened.

"Damnit!" Terra yelled. "What now?"

"Umm..." He ran through all the ideas in his head. "I think we gotta say her magic wordy things!"

"'Magic wordy things'?" She groaned. "I'm being led by an idiot." She folded her hand over his on the mirror's handle and they aimed it at Raven again.

"Azerath Metrion Zinthos!"

There was a flash of black light and Raven was gone. Even the blood had left the carpet.

"Damn you!"

Their heads snapped up, Beast Boy looking to the door and Terra looking to the bed.

"I'll just have to find a way into that mirror then!"

"OH NO YOU WON'T!" Terra screamed, grabbing the mirror and running out of the bedroom.

-sigh- I am SO tired...I watched FMA this morning and only got nine hours of sleep...

niiiiiiice......... although I have to say, that was really one graphic... and gory scene. *shiver*
