Guild Contest #1- Pick a number, any number! You were promised some contests, and now you'll start getting them. The guild goal is to get one to you once a month. Now, then. Here's how the contest works.
You will have one chance to play, unless you're a ROLEPLAYING...EXACTLY crew member, vice-captain, or captain, in which case you'll get zero chances. Though I'll bet 10,000 gold that you're not a captain. Oh, wait. I can't do that. That's the prize money for this contest.And to win that 10K, all you have to do is guess the correct number between one and fourty. The correct number can be found in the crew subforum, as well as in my brain. Therefore, it cannot be changed. This contest is 100% fair, and the outcome cannot be affected by our personal feelings toward any specific member.
With that, we begin. Start guessing. And don't worry. As wrong numbers are guessed, they will be crossed out from the list below, the wrong person's name being listed next to it. Though it may be a strategy to wait for others to narrow down the choices for you before you guess, just keep in mind that if you wait too long, someone else might win.

Nope. Sorry, but good try. By the way, everyone, if enough time passes without someone winning, I might allow second guesses. But not yet.
Edit: and 8 is nothing but the final digit of the glorious 158.
