Extremely awesome and badass band. I love the crazy pop harmony mixed with the groovy Black 'n Roll sound.

The Shield Maiden Sounds a lot like Shining, just more lively. >;[ BLASPHEME! I've really come to disliking Shining because of Kvarforth. Aside from the obvious theatrics and suicide spoofs, I have a friend who talks to him through their record label, and he's really got a rockstar mentality about everything. It's like another Dani Filth in the making. Though Shining has had some decent music.. which I choke on listening to anymore. I've also heard rumors of Kvarforth being the new singer for Bethlehem (and they're supposedly going back to their old styles instead of thier failled attempt at being Rammstein), and I can only hope this never happens, even beings that Bethlehem is nothing worth mentioning these days.

Can't remember because I haven't listened to Shining in such a long time. xp The only song I listen to anymore is Svart Industriell Olycka, and that is rare. Halmstad wasn't terrible, but it was was too rockstar-symphonic-fake-suicide-and-rename-yourself-Ghoul like.

I enjoyed the [very] little that I've heard. And I thought Shining was terribly mediocre.
