a desert that has extreme heats and sand storms. It was put there to keep "tresspassers" out from finding the Oasis. Many have died only few have gone and come back alive. The desert uses mirages to trick a persons mind...sometimes leading them to their death...

She looks out onto the desert, her glasses staring across the supple hills of sand. She smiles, pulling up her cloak on her neck and beggining to walk onto the desert. A sign was at the ourskirts but it was covered with sand but as she walked a few yards away it said, "Take caution. Beware Mirages." She yawned, a loop of an ipod cord curling into her pocket, now oblivious to all around her. She didn't think she was going to be gone that long right?

-he appearedin front of her sitting up from the sand-what are you doing here....its dangerous....you may need a guide..-he got up and looked at her and smiled slightly-

She took an earphone from her ear, and glanced back to where she came and only saw sand even if it wasn't that far. She looked back at Damien pressing pause. "Sorry. Wasn't thinking I suppose. Just needed a clear space to think." She heard a voice in the back of her head, Maia's voice seeming to cackle in her ear. "So you come to think in a mirage desert?"

i could lead you the way.....but if you want to be alone.....you should head to the cColliseum...its dangerous to try to get to the oasis unlesss you have a guide like me to take you to the oasis

She winces, wrapping her ipod and stuffing it in her pocket. "We both know what it's like to feel lonely but I don't know. Maybe." Shrugs, indecisive and apathectic. "Sure, why not." Smiles slightly. "But, if I go crazy on you..." Sighs, beggining to walk again. "Don't hesistate to do anything, alright?"

Karen began to run through the desert. Minty was holding onto her head tightly. She then tripped rolling down the sand, and landing at Aud's feet.

Blinks at Karen, taking a few steps back in surprise and hissing before she knew who it was. When the flurry of sand cleared she saw Karen and towards her, bending down to check if she was alright.

Karen saw Aud hanging over her, and she stood up wiping her clothes off. " Thanks for the concern. It's really sweet of you. And, I am fine Damien, how about you?" She said smiling to Aud.

She forces a happy go lucky smile, doing a good job for once at hiding the deciet in her eyes. "I'm good. Just done a lot of thinking lately." She murmured, looking slightly past her head. She sees the form of a blonde haired man and she runs past her calling. "Vash! Wait! Vash! Where are you going?" he kept walking faster than her but when she finally reached him...the mirage faded to sand in her fingers.

She looks at the both of them, staring at her as if she really were crazy and saw him walk off. She stared out across the desert, her eyes dry. "No...I'll just go." she said sorrowfully, and began to walk deeper into the desert, deeper into insanity.

She stopped, staring up at the moon in the sky. Audrey looked at Damien. "I need to find them...I swear it, I swear." She looked around the desert hearing small whispering voices. "Everyone I've lost. Anyone that's broken my heart. Something that will save me." She smiled insanely at him, her fangs glinting but not thristily. "Don't you see? I have to be here. I have to find it."
