I was wondering, what is everyone's opinion on Brooke? Do you think he might actually become a crew member? Do you think he's a fighter?

I think he'll be in. After all, they still need a musician, and Brooke seems pretty strong.
This new arc seems interesting, brings something new to One Piece: horror.

I'd like Brooke to stay but I think he's probably gonna be like Vivi, hangs around for a long time but ultimately leaves.

Hmmm... Brooke was kinda wierd, but in a silly way! 3nodding But it was kinda wierd when he was hitting on Nami right in front of Sanji, abd Sanji didn't do a thing about it! Wierd i say, wierd....

i bet brooke will end up joining. he is just too cool of a character not to. He brings new abilities like running on water (hopefully other stuff too), he cannot go in sunlight, a weakness that can make battles more interesting (much like franky's cola limit, and chopper's 3-minute rumble ball) plus,he already has funny conversations with the other crewmates,(nami)
-and above all, luffy wants him to join.
plus, he is a musician. (the last thing the crew needs)
i also recall luffy saying in the manga somewhere that "a crew of about ten men would do." brooke would make nine, and the final crewmember would probably be from merman island. (i am guessing a mermaid, but lets not get into that now.)

Correction, she joined the crew, then stayed behind in Alabasta because her country needed some leadership.

indeed, she joined for a short while, but then stayed behind, just like johnny and yosaku did. she is not currently an active part of the crew.

Or that other guy who owns Cerberus (as a monster tamer)
Brooke probably has control over the living dead while Cerberus, as it says in Ch444, Is invisble, and can attack easily.
